We met in Lodi to celebrate my mom’s birthday and she wanted Mexican food. This place had good reviews so we decided to give it a shot. First off it’s a huge place, lots of seating. This review is solely based on the food because the service was great! Our server went above and beyond to make my mom feel special. The food was sooooo bland and not actual mexican food. It’s like they forgot that Mexican food is supposed to be packed with flavor and spices. All the lettuce that came with the dishes was wilted, rice was bland, enchilada sauce tasted like tomato sauce, salsa had to be from a pace picante salsa jar, chicken was bland and dry. Everything was just bleh. However, the drinks and service were great! We brought our own cake and our server snuck away with it and got it prepped with a candle and brought it out singing to my mom which was super sweet. Again, the poor review was just for the food. Would not go back

Very decent food , I have ordered a Chile Verde takeaway . It was very delicious, one of the best I had . Portion was good for the price . Comes with tasty House Salad and tortilla chips and dip . Will go there again for a dining . Try out and support the local business

Charming Mexican eatery with a friendly staff. The majority of the food was AMAZING, loved the flavors… I ordered shrimp fajitas and got all these sides and things with it. The shrimp - tiny and smelled weird… everything else was good though and I’d go back and just order a dish that’s not shrimp based.

They do flavor well and know how to cook. Just stick with the carne or chicken and you’ll be golden.

This was our first time there. We were just passing through and happen to find it. The staff there were all super nice. The salsa and food was tasty and authentic and great portions. The Mazcuel Old Fashion was good! Especially the burning show infront of us.

Free chips! It was stale!!!! Though the name of the restaurant make it feel like food is going to be proper Mexican and spicy, it is just too bland! Only thing positive, our server was nice and friendly.

The food was amazing with service to match from our server Carolina. Big portions that leave you taking home left overs which is not a bad thing because it definitely left me craving their food for later. Definitely coming back to try their other items on the menu.

To start, the staff is delightful, but sometimes the staff isn’t enough to make up for bad food and loud, awful music. The salsa tastes good but is really watery, I got the Corn Cotija which came in a small cast iron, points for style but not much else. The pan was stuck to the plate with makeshift bean cement, either that or it’s a dirty plate (pictured). After that we received our food which wasn’t that great. We got the #8 which was covered in so much slop and cheese that we were able to fill another plate completely with the gruel. The rice was clearly from a package and the sauce tasted like canned sauce with way too many onions. Not to mention the fact we asked for no beans and double rice and received, you guessed it, beans and single rice. I don’t see a single universe where I return, even if the multiverse contains infinite possibilities.
