I recently stayed at Motel 6, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed a strong, unpleasant odor in the room that reminded me of something used to fumigate pests, like a cockroach bomb. My suspicions were confirmed when, at the end of my stay, I overheard the staff discussing the need to bomb the place to get rid of cockroaches.

During my time there, I had to kill three cockroaches, one of which was even on the bed. This was not only unsettling but a clear indication that the place was not well-maintained or clean. To make matters worse, I noticed that the bed sheets and pillows were never changed during my stay—rather, the bed was simply made up again with the same linens.

Additionally, the atmosphere was far from relaxing. The other guests were extremely loud at night, with some taking baths at 4 AM and leaving the tap running, while others walked around their rooms at odd hours in the morning with heavy footsteps. The noise made it difficult to sleep, and it was clear that the hotel lacked any effort to maintain a peaceful environment for all guests.

Overall, my stay at Motel 6 was disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone. It’s clear that cleanliness, pest control, and guest comfort are not priorities here, and I would strongly suggest addressing these issues to improve the experience for future guests. I am not sure how this place has a 4+ rating.

The best motel 6 ever. When I pulled up and saw how nice it was I had to ask the front desk what wrong.. lol the rooms are very nice and they even have water in the pool with a light as well as a gym. There were no hookers and tweekers in the area and I actually felt safe..

Rooms, service, location all five stars. We rolled in super late and they had a sparkling clean very spacious room available for us. Both folks we interacted with at the front desk (one at 1am to check in, one at 7am to check out) were extremely nice and accommodating. Room was very quiet and exactly what we needed after a long day of driving. Phenomenal value.

5 stars ⭐️ because of the cleanliness, location and price. We stayed in a basic no-frills large super clean non-smoking room. I like that rooms that allow pets are in a separate building. I have never stayed in a Motel 6; but after reading the reviews I took a chance and so far on our long trip this much less expensive room has been the best.
There is no breakfast-but who cares (we are tired of yogurt, cheap waffles and bagels anyway).

I had a room with a king bed for $110. The room was very clean and smelled nice. I had two dogs with me. There was no extra dog fee. The floors were wood floors and tile. It was awesome to drive right up to the room, with dogs that makes it a lot easier. It is right on highway 99, so there is a little bit of noise but not bad. VERY comfortable bed. The hotel itself was a great experience. But you dog owners, my God how stupid it filthy are you? You do realize that if you don't pick up after your dog all of you, will eventually step in it at some point. There was so much dog poop in the dog walking areas that it would be impossible not to step it into track it back into the room. I picked up other people's poop and then realized there was just too much to pick it all up. So you dog owners, you're gross and thoughtless. Pick up after your own pets and put it in the trash can. The hotel supplies bags and cans right there. And to the hotel, because of these thoughtless dog owners you might want to get a pooper scooper and go around and clean that up, I'm sorry to say. But the hotel was great!

Fast check in. Big rooms and plentiful parking. The room was clean and spacious though the front desk was closed and locked and we had to check in at a window next to the front desk office. There is no tea and coffee making facility in the room though it does have a fridge and microwave. Rooms look fairly modern and in good repair.

This is my second day renting a room at motel 6, on both of my reservations I talked to this friendly lady named Jenny, she is so kind and is always energetic when you call, I am a manager and this type of thing needs to be acknowledged . Keep up the good work Jenny you're an amazing person
