I just wrapped up my third stay at Descanso! This place has become one of my favorite spots Palm Springs. When I plan a trip this is the first place that comes to mind.

The property itself is well maintained,the rooms are very clean and tidy, and the heated pool feels fantastic day and night.

The resort has such a chill, welcoming vibe and the staff is fantastic—friendly, respectful, and always ready to help. You’ll see them buzzing around making sure everything is clean, well maintained, and the rooms are ready for the next guests.

A big highlight of my stay was Charles and Dustin. They’re amazingly sweet, provide top notch friendly customer service, give excellent attention to detail, and just overall great energy really made things even brighter. Every day I looked forward to seeing them.

Finally, the complimentary breakfast is awesome—fresh pastries, fruit, and coffee to start your day right and if you want to partake in lunch you simply place your order with them from a local partnering restaurant.

If you’re looking for a peaceful and fun getaway in Palm Springs, I can’t recommend Descanso enough. Thanks again to the whole team for another unforgettable stay!

This was our first trip to Palm Springs, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Descanso Resort came highly recommended by a friend, and from the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, we were treated with warmth and true hospitality.||A huge shoutout to Dustin and Steven, who were the epitome of hospitality—they made us feel so welcome and always brought a smile to our faces. The resort itself is fantastic—immaculately maintained, from the rooms to the pool & hot tub to the cantina. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully designed.||The small touches really set this place apart—complimentary snacks in the room, a fully stocked cantina available 24/7, and breakfast by the pool every morning. And Bob… you were fantastic! {chef’s kiss} Although we didn’t take advantage of the complimentary lunches, it was a great perk to have included.||Happy hour by the pool each evening was such a fun way to unwind and meet fellow guests. We also loved taking the resort-provided bikes on a long ride through the foothills of Palm Springs—such a great way to explore! The location is perfect—tucked away from the busy roads but just a short drive to downtown.||If you’re looking for a laid-back, welcoming vibe, this is the place to be. We met some truly wonderful people during our stay and can’t recommend Descanso enough. If we make it back to Palm Springs from the Midwest, there’s no doubt—we’ll be staying here again!

I've stayed at a number of gay resorts/guest houses over several continents and a good few years, and I have to say that Descanso is the classiest, most comfortable and friendliest I've been to. As a solo traveller it's often trickier meeting and interacting with people - but everyone, staff and guests alike, was super friendly and welcoming.|Plus Palm Springs has a beautiful setting in the mountains and great nightlife which is within walking distance of Descanso - plenty of taxis and Ubers should you not wish to walk back after a night out. I managed to get to Indian Wells for a day at the tennis which is about 30 minutes away.|I'll definitely be back.

Our experience at Descanso was exceptional. The hospitality, attentiveness, and overall friendliness of the staff were outstanding. The team truly enjoys their work and is committed to providing an excellent stay, a rarity in many traditional understaffed hotels these days. From the moment Dustin checked us in, he was always available to assist us, whether offering local advice or delivering wine to us in the hot tub. We were impressed with everyone, including Vlad, Bob, Dustin, and Charles. I highly recommend this place!

What an incredible place. Very private and very tropical. The staff attends to everyone and everything. The resort is spotless. A must get away for the gay crowd when in Palm Springs. The daily breakfasts and lunch offerings are not found anywhere we have been. A smaller resort so all feels very cozy and friendly.

First off, the location is excellent, right off Indian Canyon just north of downtown. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. I really liked the complimentary breakfast and lunch they provide. And the snacks, soda and coffee available 24 hours are very convenient too

Our first visit to Descanso, and it was fantastic! The property is beautiful, and matches the website pictures exactly. We selected this property over others partly because of the lush landscaping, which provided some shade for us when needed. Plenty of sunny spots, but that's not our thing. The room couldn't be nicer - clean, fresh design, and plenty of space, and great bathroom. Then there is the whole experience - the Descanso team couldn't do enough to make sure we were well looked after our entire visit. Starting when great coffee early in the morning, a wonderful breakfast, lunch brough in for all guests, and a wine hour on some evenings. And all in between, Charles and the entire team constantly looking after the property, and always checking in on how we were doing, and if we needed anything. A simply outstanding visit, we've found our new home-away-from-home in Palm Springs!

An amazing modern oasis that serves up fabulous hospitality. Impeccably maintained with perfectly detailed service for everyone. Walking distance to Palm Springs nightlife but if you didn’t want to leave the property and just chill by the fire pit it’s ok too. Charles Zalepesky makes you feel welcome from the moment you step inside. Looking forward to next time.
