By far the best scuba dive bed and breakfast I've been to! I booked my stay through the user friendly website. When my friend and I arrived, both Kristi and Richard, the owners, were waiting for us with big smiles on their faces. We had a warm welcome and we were off for some adventure. We cruised through the gorgeous town of La Paz for some food and drinks. Then we arrived at the house which has a Spanish Mediterranean vibe. The house has lots of colorful decor, a swimming pool to cool off in, 3 story tier structure with the tequila bar at the top, and 360 degree views from the top balcony. I enjoyed the cool weather and the beautiful lights at night of downtown La Paz.

Over our trip, we took out the boat, were all our scuba diving tanks, snacks, and good attitudes were provided for us. We dove at Sea Lion Island, great visibility of about 40 feet, actual sea lions and other colorful fish swam among us. We patrolled the Sea of Cortez and landed at another area that was great for snorkeling. Clear waters, lots of food, and a couple alcoholic beverages to cool us off. There were also white sandy beaches and amazing landscapes throughout our adventure. We also got to see dolphins swimming through the ocean. Kristi prepared all the meals, which were absolutely delicious, and the mixed drinks were tasty to say the least. Richard has a great attitude and was one of the best scuba instructors I've been around. He has a keen eye in making safety his number one priority and he also knew some of the best dive spots. Glad that Divers Inn MX have all the scuba gear required to dive. That made it easier on us when traveling. I can't wait to go back in March next year to see the whales migrating and were going to dive a wreck site which I've always wanted to do.

Overall, Kristi and Richard took exceptionally great care of us and it truly felt like a 5 star resort. They are not pushy and just truly enjoy the company and meeting new like minded people. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to see Mexico without all the tourists and also for beginner and advance scuba divers. Thanks again Divers Inn Mx.

Last summer I took my first PADI certifications. I started with Open Water, moved to Advanced and then completed Rescue Diver. All of this was within 8 weeks. Richard Musselman was my instructor for these courses. I found him to be a passionate teacher about the wonder of SCUBA diving as well as the importance of safety. Never did I hear him brush off a rule or regulation for convenience but instead, he would give us the reason for the rule, reminding us that this was to help prevent a disaster.

Lessons were presented in a clear, uncluttered manner. Not a lot of time on explanation, but more time on actually "doing". He was responsive to my occasional fears but made it clear that he felt I could do it and wouldn't quit until it was done. His expectation was high, but I felt supported the whole time.

Diving with Richard and his wife Kristi, is fun, safe and always educational. It is clear they have a deep love of the sport and hold all their divers to a high standard. It is my pleasure to highly recommend them and the Divers Inn MX.

My stay in La Paz was by far the best trip I have been on in a while. Once we landed at Los Cabos International Airport, Richard (one of the owners of Divers Inn MX) was there to greet us and make us feel welcome as we climbed in the private shuttle to take us to La Paz where the adventure awaits. Upon arrival, we pulled up to this beautiful Spanish-style three story house which will literally take your breath away once you walk in as you gaze upon the modern decor.

After the long day of travel, it was nice to relax at the house and enjoy the delicious cuisine that Kristi (co-owner) had prepared as well as a few tasty drinks. Once we were settled in, we took off to explore the city of La Paz for the night with a walk along the boardwalk and entertained by the city and great conversation about the plans for the rest of our stay.
The following day we boarded the Divers Inn MX boat and set out for the day on the Sea of Cortez. We made a few stops along the way to our destinations to recognize the history and the sights including Pelican Rock before arriving at Sea Lion Island for some scuba diving or snorkeling which was amazing.

All in all, there was adventure for everyone no matter if you are an experienced scuba diver or wanting to try for the first time. Richard is a great instructor and you will learn very quickly from him and even try out what you have learned in the pool at the house. I will definitely be coming back again one day to enjoy the sights, the Sea and the delicious homemade food! Thanks Richard and Kristi for the excellent hospitality!

What an experience. Diving in La Paz was a dream come true. Richard and Kristie made it such an enjoyable experience.

Their Bed and Breakfast is located on the edge of town in a very peaceful and secluded setting, an Old Mexico kind of feel with sand roads and cactus filled landscapes.

After diving we went back to their home and enjoyed a quick dip in the pool while Kristie cooked up some pizzas on the outdoor pizza oven!

What an experience!

Thank you guys, and I look forward to diving with you again when I next return to La Paz.

My husband and I cannot recommend Richard highly enough! We had some hesitation about completing our dive course and went into the experience feeling nervous and unsure of what to expect. From our first meeting with Richard, we immediately felt assured and and in safe hands. His instruction and service is above and beyond and his patient and reassuring attitude really got us through the course. We can't thank him enough!
