We love the location, the ease of check-in and getting access to the room, even though it was already quite late and last minute booking. Also interacting with a very friendly staff next morning was great too, as he gave us good advise on local sights to see like Fowler Falls etc. Thanks again!! The bed was comfy and the shower hot!

This complex was likely built soon after WWII as America hit the road. Converting it to a tasteful and more contemporary place today had to be a challenge and some compromises were necessary because of small rooms and dated electrical locations, but it was well done. Interior is pleasantly decorated. Parking is at the units. Ours also had a covered patio area (ex car port) that was nice in the evening.
On the other hand, be aware there are zero USB outlets and few 110v outlets (none really convenient), no tissues, and our coffee pot had to be moved to the floor to reach an outlet. Simple things, all workable if you bring some cords for all our modern accessories, and all could be easily fixed. Perhaps they will be in the future. Enjoy!

This is completely renovated, super cute. Clean and I love the Queen size black iron bed with the most beautiful sherpa in a Black & White Buffalo check, fantastic modern refrigerator and a fireplace. What a great find! Great place for a romantic weekend & they have bigger rooms for families. Everything was perfect and we will definitely return.

I had a chance to stay at the hotel at the last moment my wife booked it for me. It was very clean suitable quiet convenient to get into town. I would give that part a five star rating. The only issue was the Internet the TV kept going in and out. Would I stay there again absolutely well I have my staff from my business. Stay there absolutely. Mark Krzywicki

Clean quiet hotel. Parking for trucks or longer vehicles can be a challenge. The rooms are clean, the bed was comfortable. The room was a little small but that would be expected for the price. Checking in and out was easy and no contact. Room access is great with just code texted to your phone. Would stay again.

This place must be very successful because they do not feel obligated to be polite or answer any questions over the phone. When I tried to ask questions I was hung up on. I think they just do online booking only. The person I spoke to was very short, terse, and unfriendly. If you enjoy being insulted this will be perfect for you.

We will never make a reservation to stay at this hotel again. My wife and I were planning on stopping at Lassen Volcanic National Park on a road trip. We checked for local fires the night before and all seemed to be ok. The next morning when we were headed there we found out that someone had started the Park Fire and the highway into Lassen Volcanic NP was closed entirely. We no longer had a feasible route to get to this location. We tried to cancel our reservation here and they said they couldn't do anything since we had made a reservation with a 3rd party (booking). So we contacted booking, they issued a cancelation to Millz on our behalf. Millz declined the cancelation. When asked why they had no response. We called booking again and even the rep said to dispute the charge on our credit card with Millz since they were being unreasonable. It was a really unfortunate few hours on our road trip and we had to make day of alternate plans since the highway was closed. I would give this review 0 stars if possible and would not recommend making a reservation here as there are frequent forest fires in the area and even if you watch them plans can go to moot overnight.

My husband and I booked a one night stay here while we were passing through. I found Millz Manor through Booking, and booked a one night pet friendly room. The Park Fire was south of Lassen the day before our arrival, however, on the day of, the Park Fire caused Lassen NP to close and the road heading through the park to get to Millz was closed for evacuation purposes. There was literally no way for us to get to Millz without having to go an extra 3 hours out of our way to check-in. I called Millz and left a voicemail and they never got back to me. I ended up messaging them letting them know we literally could not get to Millz and asked if we could cancel. They replied saying they couldn't do it because we booked through a third party, and the third party would not let them cancel/give us a refund (Booking being the third party). I ended up submitting a request through Booking asking for a waived refund/cancellation from Millz. Booking did this on our behalf, and Millz STILL declined our request for a cancellation and refund. Absolutely ridiculous and beyond greedy of them. They never replied to my emails/messages and they had the audacity to send me a message giving me check-in instructions when the message before that one was me asking for a request to cancel for a circumstance that was literally out of our control. I ended up calling Booking to see if there was anything else they could do and they advised to dispute this charge on my credit card. Overall, Millz was unresponsive, and their reasoning for declining a refund was ridiculous. A lot of people wouldn't even know some hotels and places to stay existed if it wasn't for third party vendors. Needless to say, I am disputing this charge, and I will not be staying at Millz Manor in the future.
