Finally I got the chance to try Roy's and it didn't disappoint.

From the outside looking in, Roy's has the best location. Situated in the corner lot in the heart of Japan Town, across from the Buddhist temple, Roy's has a cute outdoor seating area with ample spaces. In a sunny day like today, you can see people hanging out here with friends and pets, having a sip of coffee while catching up or doing their homework.

Parking is a bit tricky as it's Japan town. But if you're willing to walk a bit, there're always street parkings 1 or 2 blocks away.

One step inside Roy's and you'll be taken back to older historic times. Roy's so charming with two corner big window, classic coke dispensing machine and a red brick wall with arts and plants donning it. The delicious coffee smell mixed with yummy pastries welcomed me and made me feel immediately at home.

The line was a bit long but it moved fast. I order Green Tea Latte on their special menu. My drink came out fast. I really enjoyed how light and smooth it was! The latte left a lovely aftertaste and I grew more and more in love with every sip.

I'll definitely come back on a different day to actually sit down and enjoy a slow Saturday morning next time here. Until then, sayonara!

Roy’s Station serves Verve coffee. It is extraordinary. The young people who work there are very knowledgeable and friendly. They remember our preferences. It is such a pleasure to go for a cup of coffee to Roy’s Station. In addition people working there are artists. Check out the creation on my latte.

This place is the heart of the Japan Town community. It's a meeting place for locals, it's a hub for anyone who has a dog, and the family that run it are some of the most wonderful people I've had the pleasure of meeting. Anyone who stops in only once might just see a local coffee shop, but anyone who comes back and spends some time there will see a thriving neighborhood hub.

Neighborhood gem with excellent breakfast and coffee options. The drip coffee is delicious and we really enjoyed the mushroom and onion brekkie. Everyone was friendly at Roy's, as were all the people eating there.

Stopped by Roy's while I was in the area. Tried their dirty chai latte and that was delicious. Also ordered their spinach and chard pastry which was good. The mocha was okay. Service was really fast even though they had a huge line. They do not allow dogs inside so if you have a pet you have to stay outdoors.

All in all a good place to grab quick breakfast and coffee.

Roy’s Station Coffee & Tea is a quaint and charming local coffee shop in Japan Town.

Staff are friendly and decor is artsy and quirky, features gas station, train, and urban memorabilia.

They have an outdoor patio which is perfect for coffee, tea, and/or a snack outside, especially when the weather is nice.

I especially enjoy the vegan, nut free, and gluten free brownies they carry paired with an iced coffee.

Tea and coffee variety is excellent and they also have smoothies and juices (in the cold box, no juice bar).

They have Verve coffee beans for purchase and store branded sweatshirts and mugs, and framed photography for sale by local artists.

Worth stopping by and checking out.

Stylish and friendly neighbourhood coffee shop with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Has merch! Which implies a long time fanbase of locals. Saturday morning coffee on the patio with kids and perhaps a dog, seems to be the relaxing forte of this place. My drip coffee tasted good 👍
