Decent hotel but quite run down and the rooms were dirty. The manager was helpful and we got the room we requested and parking is free. But the hotel itself is pretty old and dirty. Owners should clean the property more often

This review is for my Dad. He is not really tech-savvy. He asked me to leave a review for this establishment. Off the top the service was amazing, very welcoming and helpful. He loves the location, not a lot of heavy traffic, with it being so close to LAX, but this made his trip very convenient.

*DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL* It does NOT deserve the 1 star we've had to give it!|We made an error in our booking with booking.com and discovered on arrival we had somehow booked for 17th July 2025 with the price being $138.59. This was our last night in LA before flying home on the 18th July and we panicked about not having anywhere booked so asked if they could accommodate us. The lady at the window said she could but it would be $180. As we had spent a lot of time researching hotels online prior to our 14 nights in California we assumed that what was stated and pictured on the website was accurate. We were hoping to spend our last evening chilling as a family around the pool and siting on the balcony and again visiting the pool in the morning before checking out to go to the airport. We subsequently tried to pay for the room with 2 different credit cards that we had been using throughout our trip with no problems, the lady said they wouldn't go through. She suggested we walk to the local ATM and withdraw cash, instead I just used a debit card. To be honest alarm bells should of been sounding at this point!|Unfortunately what is stated on the website is completely inaccurate, I complained upon check out that I wanted some kind of refund explaining why but the man at the window just stated I would have to email as he was just an employee. We have emailed but weeks on have received no response!|The website states ..."Experience the ultimate relaxation on our top-grade mattresses, accompanied by clean and high-quality bed sheets|that guarantee a restful sleep. Embrace the softness of our cozy|pillows, ensuring a soothing and rejuvenating stay. "|Please see a photo of the pillows on the bed, literally 2 on each of|the beds, they are both different sizes and neither plump or soft.|Also there was literally just a sheet on the bed and then a thin|throw over the top and no other blankets. In the bathroom there was a soap dispenser, albeit with no soap in but it was all chipped and looked pretty disgusting. There were no hand towels just 4 fairly small bath towels and and 4 flannels. Now we could have just settled with this but then the fridge was turned down low, so we turned it up and my husband said he would go get some ice to chill the drinks for our children. He went looking for an ice machine, couldn't find one so asked the lady at the window, she said "you have to walk out turn right and down the road their is a 7 Eleven"? On the website it states "At LYFE INN LAX Airport, we go above and beyond to ensure your comfort and satisfaction throughout your visit." So $180 rubbish pillows, barely any bedding, not enough towels and now we've got to go buy our own ice not sure this is going above and beyond? Every other hotel we stayed in provided ice.|But then it got worse, the website states for a deluxe queen room..."|Step out onto your private balcony and marvel at the breathtaking view of our hotel's glistening lagoon pools." And under Amenities & Services it states "Tropical garden view". Please see photos attached what we actually got was nothing like what was described on the website. The pool was filthy, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The area around the pool looked desolate and neglected with mismatched furniture, debris and junk just strewn around, whats tropical and serene about this? So as you might of guessed no one in the family stepped foot in the pool! And as for sitting out on our private balcony to enjoy the last of the Californian sunshine on the evening? Well the balcony isn't private its a walkway for everyone else to get to their rooms, so again more inaccurate info listed on the website.|On the evening we quickly checked booking.com to see if anywhere else would have been available as we were thoroughly disappointed with where we were staying. Turns out we could of stayed at the 2 nearby hotels both having pools and providing breakfast for less than $150. We are from|England and hate to complain but discovering this was just the icing on the cake.|One last thing to mention is the state of the business card the man at the window gave me to email my complaint, I didn't bother bringing it home I just photographed it! See photo, it was disgusting, dirty and greasy, doesn't say much for the hotels standards.|Like I said to the man at the window if I do not receive some kind of refund and apology for the misleading description for this booking I would have no hesitation in leaving online negative reviews where ever I can so as other people are not fooled by the inaccurate information listed regarding|this hotel on the website.

This is a typical American motel. Nothing overly flash but clean and friendly.|Four of us stayed in one room. The room was spacious and very clean. There was no wardrobe which meant we were living out of our cases but that isn’t the end of the world.|There is a little pool which looked lovely and clean but we didn’t have enough time to use it. I think had there been a couple of sun loungers and a few more towels we might have taken a dip.|The motel is very near to the airport and Inglewood forum.|The family who run the motel are incredibly nice.|I would recommend a stay here if going to the forum or Sofi stadium or if you need to be close to the airport. Inglewood is far from lots of places so we spent a small fortune on Ubers.

We needed a last minute place close to LAX, this one was affordable and had good reviews. ||Our room was small, dark and smelled like very strong, heavy cleaning products. The bathroom didn’t have a real shower, just a curtain and drain on the floor. We inspected the mattress as we do in all hotels and it was covered in stains, along with the bedding and blankets. ||They offered us a new room but the mattress but worse than the first one. We didn’t want to stay so they gave us a refund and we went elsewhere (cleaner but more expensive). The lady at the front desk and manager were understanding about it and gave us no trouble. But I personally wouldn’t stay here.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
The room was not well cleaned with crumbs on the floor. The first room they put me in had water all over the floor as the fridge was leaking.
The lady at the front was very nice and understanding but the manager is awful. I was told I could have a late checkout and then an hour to the agreed upon time, he knocked at the door and told me I had 5 minutes to get out or pay $40. Very poorly managed.

The owners are super nice and very polite. My husband and I stayed for 8 days the next time we go to LA, we'll definitely stay again. The rooms were on the smaller side, but they were cozy and clean. The housekeepers were friendly and very polite and respectful. I definitely recommend the LyfeInn
