Had a room here for a Thursday and a Friday night in August, and absolutely loved it. Noelle was very friendly and communicative, and made sure I had all the information on how to get there, and how to get inside easily and quickly. The house is very beautiful on the inside. Quite a few scones and biscuits, and tea/coffee options laid out for guests to use. The room was cozy.

Beautiful place! I was grateful that Noelle was able to accomdate us so late in the evening. The room was lovely and the amenities were delightful. Such a pleasant surprise! We would absolutely stay again.

This was a nice place to stay, and located in the historic downtown. Breakfast was not offered, so this place is not technically a B & B. There were, however, some muffins in the fridge to share with other guests.||||Our room was nice but the 1980s 6-inch screen TV didn't really work. We only stayed one night and decided that this was probably the nicest place in town. The bed was comfortable, although the bedroom was small and crowded. Our private bathroom had a minor problem with ants, but was otherwise clean. The owner/manager were not onsite and the place was left in the good hands of the resident cat - a cheerful fellow who likes laps but does not like being picked-up.

READ THIS REVIEW: I was disappointed. The Google ad said that breakfast was included. NOT! I thought this was a bed and breakfast. NOT! it's like an Airbnb where you rent a room.

Shortly after booking the room (our credit card was immediately charged upon the click of "reserve"), I got an email from Noelle informing us that "due to Covid," they are no longer providing breakfast. What?! It felt like bait and switch. I wanted to feel pampered by a B and B. I wanted a get-away. We were told in the email that we could bring our own food and prepare our own breakfast. Gee, thanks, I can stay home to get that! I immediately emailed her back to express my dismay, and I did not even get a response.

I looked to cancel and discovered that the cancelation policy only allows a CREDIT AGAINST A FUTURE STAY. Once you press "reserve," you're stuck.

So, you get coffee (if you make it yourself), tea, and a biscotti wrapped in plastic if the other guests haven't taken them all. Oh, and you do your own dishes. Room is beautiful, immaculate, and very noisy with traffic sounds. No room cleaning service unless you ask for it in advance. We never saw any management at all--not once!--during our 4 night stay there. Bizarre. You use a code pad to get in and out. Rooms are generally fully occupied. It's like being in a high-priced hostel. Pro: Centrally located, so convenient to walk town.

BUYER BEWARE: If you want a clean room downtown, this might work for you. The rooms do not have space for added people in fold-out beds. But if you want that B and B experience, look elsewhere. The hospitality of this place was negligible. I'm not one to dis a place or to write negative reviews. I felt compelled this time. We dropped over $700 on this place, and I really didn't like it. Sorry.

We had a lovely one night stay on August 9, 2017. Noelle, the innkeeper, met us upon arrival and showed us around. We had the garden room which is private and quiet right off the small parking lot. Noelle gave us great suggestions for restaurants - we enjoyed walking downtown. Great location of the inn. Lovely continental breakfast in the morning with coffee & tea, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit and muffins. Would recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed a surprise visit to the Whitmore Inn. Friends Peggy & Butch treated us to this quaint and unique B&B. So very very cute. Tastefully decorated, felt like a step back in time. Beautiful views from veranda. Room clean and very special. Hostess Noelle took care of our every need. Breakfast was so yummy. Lovely Victorian home in the heart of town with beautiful decor and garden area. Shaded wraparound porch provides great reading area and there is also a hot tub. |Breakfast is is pastries and coffee. ||My favorite thing: The Cats!! The Inn has two felines who live on the property. Rascal seems to be about 8-10 years old and Riley was just rescued and brought to her new home so she is very small but so adorable. Both are friendly but will leave you to yourself if you show no interest. I love them and it helps me to not miss my own animals while away from home. ||It’s pricey for the lack of home cooked breakfast but I love it here and hope I get to stay again. Both trips, we stayed in the Rose Room.

We were welcomed by Rascal the cat and his human, Noelle.
Both were charming, the house is lovely and very inviting. Old time wicker on the deck called my name.
The bed comfy, great water pressure and fluffy towels.
Only draw back, could have used a small fan or A/C unit in our room. It was over 80 degrees at 8pm in our room. Made sleeping a bit rough.
Breakfast was simple but lots of it, we will return.
