I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional experience I had during my recent two stays at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Barstow. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the comfort of the hotel.

I would also like to commend the staff for their attentiveness and professionalism. During my stay, I encountered a small issue with the cleanliness of my bathroom, and the team addressed it promptly and efficiently. Their willingness to go the extra mile was truly appreciated.

I have had the pleasure of staying at many Marriott properties, and I can say that this hotel stands out as one of the best i've visited so far.

I look forward to returning to this hotel in the future and can highly recommend it.

On a whim we stopped at the last minute in Barstow. CA last night and strictly by chance picked the Fairfield Inn by Marriott. What a great hotel, from the cool modern architecture to the beautiful interior design. We were so happy to hear that they had food at the lobby bar since we were starving. What a treat to have a first rate burger and fries while watching one of their 4 TV sets. Every seat at the bar was taken and several tables were busy as well which seemed unusual for a Tuesday evening. Turns out this is the new local hangout and they were out in force. |The room was equally impressive especially with a good sized microwave and refrigerator waiting for use. The bathroom and shower were first class and so was the very large LG TV. Even though we were close to the Interstate the room was totally sound proof and we didn’t hear any noise from the adjoining rooms either. My ONLY complaint was that the entry light was inoperative. Before we left in the morning we hit the breakfast bar and again were highly impressed. We had a sumptuous breakfast of bacon and eggs along with delicious coffee. What a treat, easily the best breakfast I have ever had for free. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you’re ever in Barstow.

I was super-duper end of the road exhausted! Mandy at the desk: SUPER speedy check-in, SUPER sweet, and beautiful, welcoming smile to match. She was so kind, and a mug needed welcoming face, at the end of a long day of traveling.

Jose, Heather were wonderful assisting me with snacks and making me change at the desk. Perla (at Breakfast) was so nice to unlock the juice machine for me- I was a late riser- GRACIAS Perla!

Jorge, the young man cleaning was so professional and took pride in his work.

Great laundry facilities, EPIC gym, one of the best I’ve seen at any Fairfield Inns, cute pool, and big parking lot for over-sized vehicles. Spacious rooms as well, quiet, and VERY CLEAN!

This is probably the best hotel in all of the high desert. The staff was very helpful and friendly, (and not fake friendly, but legitimately nice,) their breakfast is a smorgasbord of delicious breakfast everything, the place is super clean, comfortable beds, all around great stay. Price is very reasonable.

Amazing brand new hotel! Spent the night here and was impressed by the modern room and how clean and inviting everything was. Breakfast was also satisfying!
Staff were also friendly and professional! I look forward to staying again in the near future.

Stayed here on a recent road trip down to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree (it's only an hour and a half from the park's main entrance).||I was a little worried about the bad reviews but curious to try an almost new property out. It's an unusual layout for a a Fairfield in that the lobby and check in is for both the Fakrfj and the Townepla Suites. There's also an unusually large lobby and a full bar and restaurant so it feels more like a hotel than a motel.||Our king suite was spacious and well laid out (pretty similar to all other newer Fairfields). Breakfast was better than usual with 3 different delicious salsas to go with the scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, jalapeno souffles and waffles.||The hotel backs onto the Mohave desert and has some nice views from the large outdoor patio which also had a fireplace, nice seating and barbecues to use. The pool wasn't large but was heated even in November.||Staff were super friendly as well.||There's EV parking in the lot but it's steep. In N Out is a 5 minute walk ||We were impressed and would definitely return

Pros:
-Modern style decor, breakfast included, outdoor pool, room service is great and the staff is friendly and helpful. Clean facilities to note
-Suites are nice if you wanna get some cooking done

Cons:
The internet is horrible, 5-20mbps for the free internet included in the room. Do not pay for the enhanced, in this day and age anything below 100mbps is unacceptable and it only gets bumped up to 30. Cannot game or stream anything. At $5 a day for enhanced this is ridiculous, extremely slow when everyone in the hotel is using it. Constant dropped connections. Suites at $200 a night this is terrible

Behind the hotel, people constantly do off-roading kicking up dust that comes into the room. The window sill was full of dust and debris. Sound pollution

People constantly smoking weed outside, thanks to the dispensaries, not good for kids.

The kitchen fan is sub par, barely sucks up any smoke, easily triggers the fire alarm

The gym is lackluster, no squat rack, minimal dumbbells. Only up to 50lbs

From fresh fruit and yogurt to eggs and waffles, there was something for everyone, and everything was delicious.The location of the hotel was also ideal, with easy access to local attractions and shopping. Despite its proximity to the freeway, the room was wonderfully quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep.Overall, my stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites Barstow was nothing short of outstanding. The combination of friendly service, comfortable accommodations, and excellent amenities made it a memorable visit. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area. I can't wait to return!
