Brought the family out here for a day trip. Great experience for my 7 year old. We enjoyed the train ride where they point out all the various mines, what a claim jumper was, and what it was like in the 1800’s. We got to walk Maggie’s Mine, which was a great experience. Enjoyed stepping into the old Saloon, lucky for us no gun fights broke out while we were there. Worth a visit, you can spend easily 2-3 hrs here.

Not an actual ghost town. More like a small theme park with mostly themed shops. There is an entry fee. Was busier than i thought a place out here would be. Still fun though

It's so worth the drive! We didn't even get to see it all because we didn't allot enough time. We will be going back and making a whole day of it. There is also a camp ground there if you want to stay and make a weekend of it.

Stopped by on the way home from vegas and loved it. Came back again and camped out. The kids lived it both times. Highly recommend, I wish we owned ATVs so we could explore outside the park

Great place to visit along the road.
As adults, it was fun, but, not that much to do or to see there. The visit of the mine and train were nice.

If you have kids, I’m sure they’ll enjoy it! We saw many young kids with stars in their eyes, ans I would have love it as a kid.

Fun place to go for a road trip, pet friendly, clean restrooms and plenty of treats and small shops. You need a few hours to finish everything. Can get costly as they charge per person and some of attractions inside are separate cost. We got there 2 hours before closing and were let in at no cost.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed exploring the historic town! Coincidentally, the label of being a ghost town was quite factual when we went because there was hardly anyone there - even on a Saturday afternoon! Perhaps the heat deterred people from coming later in the day.

However, the town featured several shops, a couple of attractions - but some were unfortunately closed when we were there. There are ceaseless opportunities for stepping back into the past and divulging in rich history!

A cool little slice of history you can share with the fam or even by yourself. Entry prices and amenities are very reasonable and Calico Chuck over at the mystery house was fun as h*ll. The salted toffee cookies at the main restaurant are some of the best I've had in my entire life and the fudge down the way is delicious. it's also buy 2 get 2 free~! AND there's a whole bunch of other shops so it's easy finding something for everyone. Highly suggest going to the mystery museum first as you can get deals for the train and other attractions which are also great to see. Very cool gem, I just wish the cemetery next door had been open. Maybe next time :]
