My stay at the Seagull Inn was so sweet! The owner, Ian, made me feel so welcome and was so helpful, in spite of being very busy the evening I checked in. The rooms are darling, well-appointed, warm and well-lit. Comfy bed, too! The location could not have been better. Just walking distance to everything you want to do, and it's just across the street from the spacious "Rotary" park. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Breakfast was superb!

We stayed in Seagull Inn for three nights during our Mendocino visit over Thanksgiving. It is a cute property with a few cabins and we rented one of the cabins. The stay was delightful and very comfortable. Our cabin had one full bedroom and an attic-turned-bedroom ideal for the kids. There was also a fully equipped shower room and a living area. The cottage was super cozy and my children had a lot of fun. The best part of our stay was the breakfast that the owners served each morning. Every morning it was something different, freshly made and served with a pot of hot coffee, fruit bowls and yogurt. On the first morning we got warm pumpkin muffins; the second morning it was cranberry bread pudding and on the last day we got parfait with juicy strawberries, blueberries and homemade toasty granola. Breakfast was brought right up to our cabin and we spend a lazy hour or so munching and sipping coffee in the warm living room.

Seagull Inn conveniently located very near to Main Street, the restaurants, groceries and gift shops. A Presbyterian church is also quite nearby as is the Big River Beach and the breathtaking Point Mendocino Trail. There was daily room cleaning service and each evening we returned to find our beds well made, trash removed and so on. The owners are really friendly and welcoming…… their hospitality makes this place extra special. Highly recommended !

I planned a last-minute getaway for my birthday and chose Seagull Inn Bed & Breakfast. I have to say that it was the best decision I made. The staff was so nice and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, the room was quaint and charming, and the outside area was peaceful. Everything was in walking distance, which made it easy to see admire the water, eat great food, and get my spa treatment without driving my car. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I will definitely return for a visit in the Spring!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Seagull Inn where we went to celebrate my birthday. Ian, one of the innkeepers, had a great sense of humor and couldn’t have been more welcoming. He took time to share recommendations for activities and great restaurants and answer any questions we had. The Inn is perfectly located, near everything, but still quiet and peaceful. The breakfasts, personally served by Ian, were delicious and the accommodations were very comfortable. I had forgotten how gorgeous and special Mendocino is and can’t wait to return - and when I do, we will stay at the Seagull Inn!!!

The room we stayed in smelled pretty dank/damp. The bed was extremely noisy/creaky and woke me up several times in the night as I was turning over. The curtains in the bathroom were see through and observable from the common patio outside. Poor breakfast options for vegans made us question our decision to choose this bed and breakfast over a similarly priced stay at a chain hotel. Will not be making the same decision again.

Absolutely loved Seagull Inn B&B. The staff were very friendly, helpful and invested in me having a great stay. The breakfast was delicious! I cannot recommend more highly and I will definitely be back. The place has the charm of a quaint bed and breakfast and the luxurious feel/service of a nice 5-star resort. I felt at home and peaceful at this ideal retreat space.

Awesome!!! Everything was great!!! Very comfortable bed. We had to leave early the day we were checking out and they left us 2 WARM amazing pumpkin/ cream cheese muffins. They were so delicious and very much appreciated!!! I would definitely recommend and stay again!! Mendocino didn’t disappoint at all. Very beautiful and quaint. L n L

We stayed in the Seagull just for one night. Our room was dark and dirty, had stained carper, shower had stains, worst shampoo bottle thrown on the floor, very old towels. Bed was squeaky, phone “charger” didn’t charge. The quiche was delicious but that was just about it. We were lucky we were able to eat it outside as the inside was really not a place for breakfast. The owner was little edgy tried to be nice but it felt forced. It felt like the owners didn’t invest in it for a long time. The price didn’t reflect the value, unfortunately all other cottages were booked.
