This hotel has potential to be very nice. It has a decent design,
In a great area and there are not a bunch of rooms which makes it feel a little more intimate. However some of the staff at the front desk as well as at the valet are not attentive or accommodating to the guest experience. I saw at least 2 guests have confrontation with the valets during my stay due to them just not paying attention and moving in a timely manner. The valet situation here is hard as well based on the drive way, if things aren’t moved efficiently it will cause hold ups and traffic on street and at hotel. I also requested housekeeping at 4pm, which they told me was not available past 4.. so i couldn’t get my room serviced and had to request new bedding.. i had to change sheets/make my bed myself because nobody could do it.

Additionally, there is no microwave available for guest’s use. I’m very loyal to the IHG brand but this hotel just missed the mark but again there is a lot of potential. It gave that the hotel wants to be luxury but the caliber of staff and overall service severely misses the mark.

Lastly there was a lot of banging and noise above me while in my room. It sounded like people were moving furniture or building something above me at all times of the day but especially in the morning where i had to flag to the front desk and ask them to have whatever was going on, stop. Probably will not stay here again.

La Peer is a true gem! From the moment we arrived, the lobby staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. The rooms were fantastic, and the onsite restaurant, LadyHawk, was a highlight of our stay—such great ambiance and food! The outdoor lobby bar and pool had the perfect vibe for relaxing and unwinding. We even had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager, Evan Thomas, who was incredibly kind and attentive, adding a personal touch to our quick stay. Highly recommend!

This is one hotel that gets everything right. I love that they offer water, as well as cold brew complimentary at the front desk. |The room was spacious and well situated. Loved the big showers too. The fitness center was a bit small, but go the job done. |The food was incredible, and the service was exceptional too. I would recommend and can't wait to return.

This hotel tries to give off a high-end vibe, with its location near Beverly Hills and the flashy cars parked out front, but unfortunately, that’s where the “luxury” ends. The reality feels more like a glorified Motel 6.

The lobby and rooms are outdated, with furniture that is damaged and stained, leaving a poor first impression. It’s clear the property hasn’t been maintained to the standard it’s trying to project. The shower head in my room was so dysfunctional it was practically useless, adding to the frustration of my stay.

Despite its attempts to make guests feel special with the parking lot ambiance, the experience falls flat where it matters most: quality and comfort. I wouldn’t stay here again—don’t waste your money.

My preferred hotel for a staycation in LA. Great location in the city to access amazing food, shopping, and entertainment. The service is top notch and accommodating. I wasn’t thrilled with the location of the initial room. My neighbors were noisy. They were able to find me a quieter room. On property dining was good. Better than other hotels in the area. Pool got crowded as the day went by but I went earlier so no issue claiming a spot. The staff was helpful with directions and recommendations. Would definitely come back again!

There seems to be a trend of hotels just claiming they're "5 star" when the only thing 5-star about them is the claim. Check-in time is 4pm, which is already pretty late, but our room wasn't ready until after 4:30. Their Internet is woefully slow (c'mon people, it's 2024). The check-in experience was awful. Staff seemed irritable and nonchalant. The drain in the shower was blocked, and despite being told "someone would come to fix it", nobody did. Room service didn't pick up the phone, and asks to leave a message, but doesn't actually contact you back. Rooms don't have any coffee/tea provision, just the standard absurdly-priced "mini bar" (why is that even still a thing). The hotel is not "bad", but it sure isn't a "5 star" hotel. Hard pass.

Edit: I thought 2/5 was fair, but just discovered they charged me $15 for two bandaids I used from their little first aid kit in the room. So now they get a 1. Well played.

Had a great time staying here with some girlfriends. We enjoyed the free wine in the lobby, had a drink at the outside bar, had a wonderful dinner at Ladyhawk, and walked to the clubs for some dancing. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms pristine. I hope to return again soon!

Stayed here as part of a wedding block, overall had a fine experience but would consider this a 4 star hotel. Emailed a few days before my arrival to let them know we'd be arriving before check-in, room was not ready when we got there which we knew was possible but later a friend checked in after us and she was given a room right away. So after going back to the desk, we were finally given a room, even though I was told we'd be texted when something became available. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, but otherwise underwhelming. Pleather on the headboard was peeling and sink had a leak.

The staff was very kind at all points, especially the gentleman who runs the wine hour in the lobby. That being said did have to ask twice and wait almost 24hrs to get a robe. Also after checking out, saw on my statement that we were charged for snacks we did not touch - they kindly removed the charge but be sure to ask for a receipt upon check out.

In short - great location, nearby spots to eat are easy to walk to and the WeHo area is fun to go out in but don't think it is worth the rate.
