Among the two closest motels to Gilroy Premium Outlet, I opted for Comfort Inn Gilroy and am delighted with my decision. The hotel's exterior exudes comfort and warmth. The room's modern design and cleanliness are impressive, with added conveniences like a microwave and coffee maker. Guests can also utilize an ice maker, washer, and dryer near the lobby. Breakfast consists of cooked food and bagels, breads, oats and waffles. Parking is free and readily available.

If you're looking for good customer service, I do not recommend staying here. This is definitely not the expectation of what Holiday Inn's Customer Service is. When we arrived at the hotel, the sliding glass doors were locked. There was no one at the front desk to let us in. I had to use the side door to enter the hotel, then I had to ring a bell for service and I waited about five minutes for someone who spoke minimal English to assist me. I informed the check-in rep that I had prepaid for my hotel room and he didn't understand what I was saying so he charged me for one night again. I explained to him and showed him that I had pre-paid for my room but he didn't understand English so I let it go. When I was trying to check out, there was no one at the front desk again so I had to ring the bell and wait another five minutes or so. The check-out rep didn't want to give me a receipt so I had to ask for one and then I disputed the room charge fee again. The rep by the name of "Ray" said I would receive a refund in 3 business days but when I checked my credit card, they still charged me so now I have to dispute the room charges with the credit card company. Be careful if you choose to stay at this hotel as you may be charged twice. Last but not least, lock your vehicle and don't leave anything in your car. There are homeless people walking around and we didn't feel safe with our children at the hotel.

The staff was very friendly however there was no milk in the breakfast room for the cereal. There was something in the warmer that resembled eggs and the coffee machine was out of order. When I took a shower the water smelled like sewer. The mattress was a little too firm for my liking and my air conditioning unit was old and noisy and kept waking me up.

Rooms were rarely cleaned in a 4 day stay. We also rarely saw staff. Only one tiny trash can and sheets never changed

Large Sign "Comfort Inn Now Open" indicates it must have been closed for renovation. The site is open, but shows it needs some work before meeting Comfort Inn standards.|The desk and lobby were unmanned at 4pm when we arrived for checkin. After 15 minutes, the clerk returned (very nice person) who checked us into our rooms. |The first room we went to was dirty: had not been cleaned from the previous guest.|The second room lacked the Dish Network receiver for the TV, so we requested a third room.|The room was comfortable, but the decor lacked any color. Kinda bland. The beds were clean and comfortable, and I do like the showers which are the low step in style. |Breakfast was lacking: the only hot offering were the waffles; no eggs, sausages, etc. Coffee was good, and the usual cold offerings were available. |The lobby was unmanned the entire time we were in the breakfast area. The only employee we ever saw was the desk clerk upon check in

The hotel rooms look renovated. My room was very clean. Laminate flooring, tiled standing shower, the bed was on the firm side (which I prefer). There is a pretty large desk in the room if you need to do some work. Breakfast was standard light fare - yogurt, cereal, danish pastries, fruits, waffles, sliced white bread, jams, and butter, milk, coffee….theres a Denny’s right next to the hotel if you want something heartier. I stayed here while visiting family, would stay here again.

TV wasn't working and we couldn't even be moved to a different room. Charged me 155 but can't even accommodate us to a room with a working tv. 👎👎👎
