Great selection of products. Typically, pretty helpful/knowledgeable staff.

As a son of a small business owners I usually willing to go out of my way, sacrifice convenience, and pay more to support other small businesses. So I patronize Vendome when I need some special or hard to find. The knock in stars though is due to, as others have mentioned, the mark up on items. The store is not cheap - consider ~40% more than grocery store prices. If prices were a bit lower I'd be there for all my purchases.

The prices are a little higher than big, corporate liquor stores, but the selection is unmatched. They have a lot of limited run items and hard to find liquors and liqueurs. Pretty good selection of wines too. I don't drink beer, so I can't comment on that. Also, the staff is very friendly and they do some tasting events there.

They come through for me every time. I like to play at craft cocktails, and often that requires uncommon ingredients. More than once I've driven the nearly 80 miles to come to Le Petit Vendome for a beautiful haul of non-standard liquors. the service is always friendly and excellent. I wish it was closer, but that probably saves me a lot of money, heh.

Great selection of wine with helpful and knowledgeable staff. But perhaps even more importantly, this place has an excellent selection of craft beers! One of the best places for craft beer that I've found in So Cal. From hazy IPAs to barrel aged stouts or funky sours, this place has it all.

The neighborhood wine store every neighborhood should have. When we moved into the area all we knew about wine was that we liked red more than white. Owner Lyn and her wine enthusiast/expert manager Ray took us by the hand and over the years gave us the most pain-free, joyous education we could have hoped for. The Friday/Saturday night wine tastings became the treat that got me through another week of work and our son began encouraging us to never miss one because we were "so much happier" when we did. Lynn always welcomes us like family and Ray's encyclopedic knowledge of wine and his memory for what we like has led us to wonderful discoveries in all price ranges. There's always opportunities for interesting conversations with new people at the tastings and we all get wittier as the evening goes along. This place and these people have improved the quality of our lives over the years and I toast them and wish them continued success.

This is our go-to place when we are looking to try something new or need advice on gifts for a connoisseur. The regionally themed wine tastings are really fun. Of course they aren't going to beat the prices at a big box store - but you won't get nearly the same selection, service or expertise as Vendome has.

First time stopping in after ALWAYS passing it.. They had quite a bit of a selection of beer but also other little knick knacks. The gentleman that helped me was very helpful and gave me something on the house which was very nice of him. The store was clean and organized, and plenty of parking in the rear.
