My Abuelita decided to take my son and I out to dinner to celebrate his birthday, and the choice was easy. Sakura. This Teppanyaki-sushi place is great for the whole family, but it is still a great option for date night, too. The menu is simple on the teppanyaki side but it has options for all palates (less, usually translates to fresher). The cusine is a spectacle, all the chefs that work there have awesome knife skills as well as great showmanship. They prepare your meal in front of you on the traditional japanese flat-top griddle while entertaining you with a free-style cooking show. The food has always tasted fresh and the restaurant is always well kept. Alsobthe sushi side is cool, but you can order that from the teppanyaki side as well. I usually get the steak and lobster combo and share a Fire Ring Roll smothered in fried onions with the family (try that roll, it looks and tastes awesome!) We went there on a Sunday evening and it was busseling! There must have been a line of 20 people outside the door and just as many in the waiting room, I must say we all got seated i. Less than 20min. ( we called around opening time to reserve)

great atmosphere and service. The taste is slightly above average for teppanyaki (remember to tip cooker after the show!service fee is not included in bill) But the waiting time is considerable long especially during weekend and holidays. Be Prepared to wait for a half hour or longer. It takes quite a long time even with reservation. I reserved at 7:30and did not be served until 8:30😢crazy holidays！

We have been here a few times and every time it's soooo good! The service is amazing 👏 All staff are so friendly and super accommodating for my daughter who has Celiac Disease and has to have everything cooked seperate and have no gluten. The food is so yummy! We will be back!

Let me start by saying, what an absolutely amazing place this was. I was looking around for places to go with my girl for our anniversary dinner and ended up discovering this gem. From the atmosphere to our host, we enjoyed every bit of it.

To start off, the wait to get seated was decent and fast compared to nearby places. The atmosphere is nice and exciting, with the excitement of watching as the chefs cook your food in front of you and perform an amazing show.
The food was absolutely amazing. The salmon was great and the fried rice is by far the best fried rice I've tried in SoCal so far.
Lastly, the hosts and chefs were absolutely amazing and very welcoming.

I would definitely recommend this place for couples, family gatherings, and hanging out with the bros.

Amazing hibachi in fun atmosphere with excellent sushi options too. Really enjoy going to Sakura for both the food and the atmosphere. They have a large menu with much more than just hibachi. Sushi options are quite good too. Free parking in the shopping center lot. Hibachi dinner is very filling with soup, salad, rice, veggies, and your main. I recommend the filet and chicken with fried rice. Of course they have the good sauces too. If you catch the shrimp in your mouth the first time this means you are a pro. If it takes 3 times you need more practice! Great place for families, kids, birthdays and such. Service is very good.
