Retro decor, booths, etc. Definitely feels like an old school diner and family friendly!

Upon entry, we have always been promptly greeted and seated. The hostess immediately took drink orders while we awaited are our server. There are a lot of options on the menu! Took us a while to decide and our server was quite patient with us! I did order an appetizer of zucchini sticks which were pretty hefty in size! Our food was brought out nice and hot within a very reasonable time frame for freshly made food.

The portions are generous, I couldn't even finish my Popeye omelette. Since it was a special I also got pancakes with my meal along with my choice of potatoes. It was a lot of food! My son got the peach waffle. One waffle doesn't sound like a lot until you realize it covers the entire plate! And they definitely didn't skimp on his toppings!

Location is pretty easily accessed as it's close to 405. Parking can be limited depending on the time of day you go. They do have several handicap spaces in front.

Breakfast this morning was better than I expected, but still could have been better. There are a few locations all around Los Angeles and I would not classify them as a diner, more as a fast service American restaurant. The best part of the meal was the pricing because it is very fair. There is plenty of seating inside, both booth and counter and parking is very easy and free because it’s attached to a shopping center.

Service was pretty quick for me although it did take quite a while for me to be able to place my food order. I was immediately seated right when I entered and they brought my drinks immediately after being seated. I did have to wait about 10 minutes to place the order, but when the food came it was better than I was expecting. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and even though the hollandaise was a bit watery in my opinion the ham on the bottom was very good and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I got side of avocado and it was not the freshest avocado but I still ate it.

Overall a pretty nice experience although does not really give me the restaurant kind of feel. I would recommend it if you are in the area.

First time here at the restaurant. The service was great don't get me wrong but on the other hand the food wasn't to my expectation. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo pasta with chicken and it was good but wouldn't order it again. It was not terrible, I mean the pasta and sauce tasted great but the chicken was missing some seasoning, I mixed it really good with the sauce and all but it still didn't work for me. The plate came with garlic bread but came few minutes after I got my food and I did not like it whatsoever, too much garlic and not baked enough. Can be my personal preference but I like my garlic bread crunchy this bread was soft. My husband ordered the burger I forgot the name and he had no comment, he ate the whole thing. The restaurant was nice and clean, few people were there mostly older folks and the service was great, the waiter came every few minutes to check on us. Nice place overall, might come again for breakfast but not dinner.

Excellent service compliments of Winnie. Old school atmosphere in a traditional 1950’s diner. The decorum is reflective of that era so is the quality of food, the size, the service. A total gem stuck in time. When food was better, portions were bigger & servers were taking pride in their profession. Refilling the cup of decaf numerous times. Checking in, giving the full sit down full service experience.
I must say, most places have been lacking since the pandemic, & while other places do the bare minimum. Here the staff goes above & beyond.
A classic neighborhood American Diner the likes we mostly see in the movies nowadays.

We haven't been to a Spire's in years but were hungry and right down the street from it so we went. We were all surprised by how good it was. The portions were large, the service was fantastic. I'm sorry I didn't get the ladies name she was incredibly attentive. I've been to "better" restaurants and not had service this good. We ordered an appetizer sampler and were impressed everything was obviously house made, which is always a good thing. Everyone enjoyed every bit of it. The rest of our food was just as yummy. All of us will be coming back. Next time I'm trying a slice of the chocolate cake it looked really good.
