Our trail ride was so much fun! James was so knowledgable and had so many great stories to share. He was an excellent tour guide and made us feel comfortable and happy the whole trail ride. Even stopped multiple times to take photos of us. Great kick off to our anniversary and can’t wait to recommend him to our friends and family!

Went out here for my birthday to go trail riding with my family and friends, let me tell you this was by far my favorite birthday yet. James is one of the kindest whole heart individual who really cares about what he does and giving others an experience they won’t forget. He was our trail leader/photographer/teacher/etc, he really dose it all and with love. The scenery was beautiful, the experience was beautiful, it was over all just a wholesome time. After our trail ride we were able to picnic and enjoy our company then have a little archery fun. I would definitely recommend this type of experience if you are looking for meaningful time spent with loved ones appreciating nature and the beauty of this earth. Thank you James for creating such an amazing experience I will remember this birthday forever!

I spent the most wonderful afternoon with two girlfriends horse riding with James as our guide. He is the most down to earth man, with a heart of gold and the horses are so loved by him. James lead us through some of the most epic landscape I've ever seen! We were not the most avid riders but we each felt very safe and secure in James hands. It was such a lovely experience. I would recommend a ride in the morning light or afternoon for those magic hour sunset vibes.

Went here with friends to spend Easter Sunday and it was very fun! We did a lot of activities including horseback riding, archery, and calf roping. We also visited the stunning sandstone castle which is amazingly beautiful. James is very welcoming and friendly with us. The place is a hidden gem, very relaxing and quiet. I would definitely come back and spend a night to try more activities like spear throwing and dirt skiing. Horses were very friendly and fun to ride with! Thank you again James!

Great trail riding experience with a truly wonderful host. James is amazing and his ranch has a ton of personality just like his horses. Super friendly and knowledgeable about horses, animal tracking and the local terrain. James is genuinely hospitable and has arranged for a variety of activities for all ages and all experience levels. Highly interactive and full participation is encouraged.

Awesome time and I'm definitely going back next time I'm in California!! Went with my fiancé to ride horses, we had so much fun and James is the nicest guy ever. We had some great conversations and taught us about some native plants and land formations. The horses were beautiful and friendly and we saw some gorgeous scenery. James took a ton of amazing pics for us and showed us some really scenic spots. He even let us do some archery afterwards and taught us trick shots!

Highly recommend for anyone in the area, the area is serene and the prices are very fair. James is super knowledgeable and will accommodate any experience level and make you feel comfortable with the horses.

I had such a great trail ride here. It was quite an adventure! The owner, James, was a wonderful teacher and made sure we were well prepared to work with our horses, and it was the most educational, rewarding, and adventurous trail ride I’ve been on. We even got to brush the horses and help saddle them. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to up their horse riding game and doesn’t want to be babied. Also a breathtaking trail.

We had such an amazing experience with James! He is real horse whisperer! My kids, 5 and 8 y.o. loved the horseriding with a hike in the Sand Castle. I ended up riding with a 6 months old in babycarrier in front and 5 y.o. on the back as my baby was fussy and the ride was so smooth. Thank you James for teaching my children about horse riding, giving them wise advices about life and for such beautiful time I spent with my family at your place. We will be definitely coming again to try other stuff.
