Great value hotel close to Hermosa Beach pier.

We chose to stay here due to the proximity and it's great amenities. A large portion of the hotel was under construction at the time of visit (3/2024) but that didn't sour the trip. We enjoyed the view from our balcony, the free breakfast, friendly staff, covered parking, and close proximity to many coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery stores.

The rooms were basic but clean with clean bathrooms and soft beds.

Our initial impression was overwhelmingly positive. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Marie, the receptionist, whose welcoming demeanor set a delightful tone. Having recently departed from Palm Springs (7 Springs suite; a separate review, and not so good), we found our room spacious, impeccably clean, and fully functional. The bed was super comfortable, and I had the best sleep there. The hotel's location was ideal, with convenient proximity to various amenities, including a Trader Joe's directly adjacent. Every staff member we interacted with exhibited exceptional friendliness and helpfulness. A particular highlight was witnessing a breathtaking sunset from our private balcony. I intend to share a photograph showcasing its beauty. In summary, this establishment exceeded our expectations, earning our strong recommendation and ensuring a return visit.

Has the absolute BEST two night stay here for my anniversary with my boyfriend. I'm going to be honest, we didn't expect much, we just wanted a place to stay by the beach. But the service was AWESOME. Special shout out to Chris (front desk) on the night shift and Angie (AM breakfast manager) for being especially awesome. The beach views from the top floor are spectacular, the breakfast is the perfect start to the day, and the staff here goes above and beyond in providing a great experience. They're also doing renovations so it's going to be even better next time. Thank you guys so much! We'll be back.

Room 112 was very clean. Good water pressure in the shower. Towels are on the thin side. Small balcony with view of ocean but no chairs. Breakfast area has indoor and outdoor seating. Yoghurt, apples/bananas, muffins, bagels, bread, waffle maker and sausage links. Cereal and OJ. Area was kept very clean. Stayed one night and would stay again if in the area.||Had to wait for 10 minutes to check in. Desk clerk had left a sign that she would be back soon. Sign for hotel was difficult for us to see at night. We had to circle the block as we missed the entrance the first time. There is covered and uncovered parking, but there is a daily charge, which I was not told about when I called to specifically ask about hotel parking.

Enjoyable stay, have stayed at this location three times in the last two years. Two blocks away from beach, lots of shops and food options nearby, easy drive to major attractions, and LAX. Covered parking is peace of mind and easily accessible to hotel entrance. Quiet nights, in a nice neighborhood, have never had any issue. Cleanliness is 10/10 but rooms are a little run down. Just minor wall/paint/grout issues. Could use a little touch up. Will continue to stay here on future trips.

The room itself wasn’t too bad. Clean bathroom, clean sheets. The customer service was adequate, but not exceptional. There was a weird black stain on the comforter. Paid over $300 for one night, and then found out we had to pay an extra $10 to park our car there. Felt like we were getting nickeled and dimed. On top of that we were on the 3rd floor and the elevator was broken so we every time we left the room we were climbing 3 flights of stairs. Signage in the lobby said the elevator was being worked on and would be fixed in 3-4 weeks… the sign was 4.5 weeks old, so the elevator should’ve been fixed according to their own timeline. You think they would at least waive the parking fee for the inconvenience, but alas that was not the case. I will stay at a different hotel next time.

The staff was wonderful and the rooms were fine, so why the 3 stars you ask? Because they are doing renovations...I will be back and hopefully renovations will be done. But the staff here is great, hence the reason I will be back.
