Great experience with my family this past weekend aboard Dana Point Sportfishing for my birthday. The boat was spotless when we arrived and Captain Connor had us off the dock and on our way out of the harbor moments after we arrived. We heard the grey whales were migrating to Baja this time of year so Captain Connor took time to buzz us around the coastline until we found whales! We had the best day and spotted 8 whales, countless dolphins, egrets, blue herons and sea lions. Captain Connor was professional, polite and fun to spend a day with.

Captain Connor was amazing! We have been deep sea fishing a dozen times and this was by far our best experience. He knew his stuff and he were catching bass nonstop on our half day. We also took my two daughters and he was patient with them. We will definitely be back! Definitely worth the price for a private charter vs a party boat.

Had a Great day on a full day charter!! Spent time doing all different kinds of fishing for different species. Then finally found schools of Tuna to finish the trip off right! Our captain Ryan was amazing and made sure we had a blast!

Captain Ryan took myself and my party out. We caught a Mahi Mahi, a yellowtail and a couple bass. Captain Ryan worked diligently to fund us a good spot to fish dispite the fish not wanting to bite after mid guy. I would recommend this charter to everyone. Both Ryan and Shane are transparent and fair. Whenever we can get back out there, we'll be requesting Ryan again.

I went on a day trip with Dana Point Sportfishing yesterday with a couple friends. Captain Chip was our captain and tour guide. He toured us around the best fishing spots surrounding Catalina Island. Right from the start of the trip we were constantly catching fish! Chip took awesome care of us and showed us how the pros do it! Not only did we have a great time but we all learned a lot about fishing I did not know previously thanks to Chips experience and knowledge. We will deffinetly be going back out with Captain Chip and the Dana Sport Fishing crew, we had a blast!

This was our 2nd year chartering a trip with Dana point sport fishing. Guarantee we will book another next year. Had a blast on the water. Captain Dan was the best, not only did he go above and beyond to find us fish he also made us a part of the experience. Provided great insight and we left better fisherman than when we started. Couldn't have hoped for a better experience.

We went fishing with Capt. Ryan today and had such a good experience. We caught Barracuda, Mackerel, White Sea bass, Vermillion, and Rock Fish. The boat was impeccably clean and comfortable. The gear was clean and functioned perfectly. Ryan was knowledgeable and shared insight to help each of our group improve our skills. Captain Shane was great to work with and it was easy to book the trip, easy to get to the harbor and the boat. We really enjoyed our day! If you are looking for a great day of ocean fishing with a group of people who will really take care of you this is it! We we be back to chase the big offshore fish on our next trip with Captain Ryan and Dana Point Sportfishing.
