I only wish I had more time to explore the full menu, as I can confidently say I’ll be returning to try even more of their offerings.

Holy moly. Delicious!! Highly recommend. The vegan French toast was out of this world.
Staff was incredibly friendly and atmosphere was very peaceful.
Not a quick place to eat - everything is made from scratch per order so it takes a long time, especially if there is a crowd. Worth the wait!

It was 8:40 PM, and we were on a long drive through California, stopping for gas in a small town. Hungry and with limited vegetarian options close to 9 PM, we stumbled upon this restaurant nearby. We can’t express how lucky we were to find it.

Calling ahead, we discovered they were about to close for the day, but the kind staff graciously agreed to stay open for us. They waited until we arrived and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our meal without any rush—a level of hospitality you rarely find.

We ordered aloo paratha and dal, and both were outstanding. The food’s quality and quantity were impeccable, and the flavors matched traditional Indian cuisine so authentically. It’s the kind of meal that leaves you feeling energized and satisfied—unlike the heaviness of fast food options like burgers or pizza.

What made the experience even more special was the warm and friendly staff. They indulged us in small talk, making the atmosphere feel welcoming and personal.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I urge you to visit this place. It’s a true hidden gem for anyone looking to experience the best of vegetarian Indian cuisine.

One of my favorite places ever! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

We have visited this restaurant about 5 times on our way to LA. This place is one of the reasons why I think Google reviews should exist. The place is small and hidden in a forest (will need a 5 minute detour), but once you find it, you will not regret.

Tons of vegan and vegetarian options. The places has about 6 tables, so I would recommend calling them in advance and placing an order. They make everything from scratch. The staff is warm and friendly.

The pictures below are all vegan food. The chicken tikka masala curry and buckwheat pancake is a must try. They also have multiple coffees and seasonal drinks. We went during Christmas, so it was decorated very well.

I had an incredible experience at this place! As someone with a gluten allergy, I was in heaven here being able to enjoy so many dishes without having to worry. We had pakoras, roasted eggplant, mushroom lovers pizza, savory pancake, Thai tea, and mango lassi. The atmosphere is peaceful, great view of the mountains, and the staff are friendly and thorough with making sure the orders came out perfect. Will definitely be back whenever I'm in town next. <333

My husband and I were staying in PMC, and while searching for vegetarian food options, we discovered The Red Dot. We are so glad we did! We drove 20 minutes to Frazier Park, and it was totally worth it.

First, I want to mention that due to an accident, they had to cut the power. We can’t imagine how difficult it must have been to cook without full lighting in the restaurant. Yet, they somehow managed to make it work by using lamps to keep the place open. To me, this shows their dedication and commitment.

The service was friendly, and everyone was cordial and welcoming! I can’t even begin to describe how delicious the food was!

This has quickly become one of our favorite spots in the area, and we will definitely be back soon.

It can be difficult to find good food on your journey down the grapevine. The Red Dot will make you happy and grateful that the winding road took you through this part of California! This place is an absolute gem. Well worth the 4 minute detour from the highway! The food was spectacular-you simply can’t go wrong. Healthy, hearty, and bursting with flavor, everything we had was exceptionally delicious. The wait can be long so call and order ahead, they’ll have it ready for you when you arrive. Don’t expect anything fancy from the atmosphere, though the decor is genuine, authentic and warm: a mixture of traditional Indian decor with American seasonal trinkets and lots of interesting house plants nursing their way through the winter season. The staff is so kind and the food is clearly prepared with all the love and care they describe on their website. Worth a stop on your way in or out of LA!
