This "real" Bed and Breakfast is amazing! It is so beautiful! A spanish hacienda, with great grounds. Robert and Marianne are wonderful hosts and truly take care of their guests. Robert is very knowledgeable of Yosemite and will tell you where to go and what to do! You will love the experience at Posada Marianna!

Everything was perfect. Rob and Mary Ann were very welcoming hosts, giving us advice about our visit in Yosemite (the park is located approximately an 1 hour drive away). Their house, located out of town, is beautiful. The room was big enough and very clean. Also, the breakfast was delicious, suited for European eating habits.

Rob and Mary-Ann are exceptional hosts. We had some very good conversations over a sensational breakfast.
The rooms are very clean, cozy and quiet. On hot days you can go for a swim in the pool and enjoy the beautiful view.
Overall, definitely a recommendation for a stay!

Simply great. The house is very lovely, the room was big, clean and comfortable. Rob & Mariana are super friendly hosts and people, we enjoyed the conversations and can 100% recommend to stay here. Rob's amazing breakfast is just the cherry on top.

Absolutely spectacular! Warm, wonderful hosts, Rob and Marianne, make the stay even more memorable. Total rest and relaxation in a beautiful rural setting, harkening back to days of early California. Delicious breakfasts and really enjoyed the pool and peaceful outdoor areas. Will return! A truly special and inspirational spot.

We stayed at Posada Mariana recently (second week of July) for one night. Wow, there are so many wonderful things to be said about this bed & breakfast. ||||The proprietors, Rob and his wife Mary Ann, are kind and wonderful people. They were helpful with directions, local dinner suggestions, and ideas about exploring the local wilderness -- even before we arrived! They welcomed us with big smiles and made sure we were comfortable. ||||Our room was charming and pleasant (the Vallarta room), the beds better than home. The bathroom was incredibly clean, the shower the best EVER. ||||Breakfast was delicious and included sausage, eggs, yogurt, granola, fruit, croissants (toasted!) and fantastic coffee (much needed). Conversation with the other guests about travel adventures was really enjoyable. ||||Posada Mariana is a gorgeous Spanish Colonial home, complete with a courtyard, fountains, trees, a pond with fish and running water, and best of all, an INCREDIBLE view and location. We didn't use it, but there is also a beautiful pool & spa and bbq area. We did very much enjoy sitting on the patio and looking out over the valley while the sun set. And then the next morning, after breakfast, we sipped our coffee while sitting on a quaint bench on the edge of the property, enjoying the sounds of nature. ||||If you're considering staying in the area, you REALLY don't need to look any further. Rob and Mariana are fantastic hosts - very friendly, knowledgeable and of good humor. Their property is a very special place with loads of personality - it was a delight to stay there. Patio areas to relax, a pool and substantial grounds with great views of the countryside. If you want somewhere quiet to unwind after a day's exploring, this is the place to stay. Close to the town of Mariposa which has many facilities and good places to eat (I recommend Savoury's for its great menu and service). The main entrances to Yosemite National Park are only a short drive away through beautiful countryside.

As you drive into the rural property and see a beautiful Mexican-style home, you’ve been transported to a retreat with true hospitality. We were warmly greeted by Robert and Mariana and immediately felt we landed in the right spot. Heaven. The location is for those who wish to be away from it all and be in a tranquil, lovely environment. It is perfectly appointed and a wonderfully cared for home. Four guest rooms with no distractions (i.e., TV) but with everything you’d need to be comfortable and relaxed. It far exceeded our expectations. The thoughtful breakfast -if that can be a “thing” - was fantastic and generous. Though only hour or so from two Yosemite gates, it’s a world away from the crowds. One always hopes that a property accurately describes itself and posts accurate photos and that reviews are honest and true. Posada Mariana has fabulous reviews because it’s a wonderful property to enjoy. We will find an excuse to return. Pronto! ¡Muchas gracias Roberto y Mariana!
