Justin was the most pleasant person I have delt with there. Very polite on the phone making my res. In person very he was supper. Room was upgraded from the last time we stayed, nice. The property was much cleaner. We stay about.two to foursomes a year thank you.

Positive: It was clean, it was quiet, the beds were great, everything worked well. A great stop over on the way home on a long trip. The location was perfect for us as well. Negative: The hot breakfast could use a little bit of work. The waffle maker was very old and needed replacement. There were no hot and readily prepared eggs or sausages or anything like that.

The room was spacious, quite comfortable and the kitchenette was fairly well equipped. It did however lack some cutting knives and a cutting board. And it didn't have any dish soap, so I wonder what I would have done if I stayed more than one night. But the reason I gave it only four stars instead of five was one of the kitchen utensils had oily residue on it from the last client and there was a wadded up washcloth in the shower from the last person.

Positive: Check in was efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Negative: Our room TV did not work. Help came up from front desk but she could not get it to work. We were offered a new room, but we had already unpacked so declined. Check out guy was preoccupied and couldn't find our info to give us a receipt. Not a big deal.

Stayed 1 night January 2025 - Rooms were adequate. Electrical plugs were not all working. No elevators. Horrible water pressure. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was a joke. Took expired creamer to desk and felt as if we were bothering clerk. Basic hotel with basic rooms and amenities. Would investigate other hotels in area.

Very nice hotel located in Tehachapi right off of CA Hwy 58 between Bakersfield and Mojave. Rooms were clean and large I don't know if every floor had an ice machine but our floor had the ice machine conveniently located in the middle of the floor. There was a bar and grill located right across the driveway into the hotel.

I stayed a week here. My room was decent, 2 queen beds with a small frig and microwave. I also had a party who stayed in the suite room with the full size frig and oven top burners. I felt like the cleaning was good. Hot showers. Lots of parking. Restaurant next door but I did not try it. The cleaning team is good. I did not use the pool - winter stay. Laundry went well. Breakfast is more of a grab and go breakfast and the waffle maker needs replaced. It sets off the alarm everyday cause it's so old and burns the waffles!! Truck stop across the street and another truck stop right down the road, so there are fast food places close by and gas that is priced decently. We felt secure and safe.
WARNING!!! Front desk customer service girl Cynthia - works from 3pm until 11pm, she is lacking in customer service skills!! (check in is at 3 pm too!) Possibly lacking in knowledge of English language so it causes barriers or possibly may be just awful customer service skills that need updated and educated on. Unfortunately, I think she may just get enjoyment out of harassing Baymont's customers.
I saw her get frustrated and hang up on customers on the phone as I was waiting to check in to our room. She was short and demanding on the worker guys checking in during that time as well. Other than poor customer service, I would stay again, and hope she is off work when I get there!!

We read several disparaging reviews after we booked a night at this hotel and we were worried. However, it was extremely clean and quiet, friendly staff, good room size, comfortable beds, warm shower, and a decent breakfast. No complaints from us and we will stay here again.
