This restaurant is located inside of the Elyton Hotel. We visited this restaurant for a birthday brunch and the food was amazing. I am not always a fan of breakfast potatoes but these were gone within minutes of them hitting the table. Everything was cooked to perfection I really have nothing bad to say. The grits were a great consistency, which I appreciate! The only complaint I have is that I didn’t order more food. I will definitely be back to try more dishes.

We ate here for Father's Day. Very laid back atmosphere. Our waiter, Terrence, was very friendly and entertaining. He did his best to overcome several issues we had. All in all a very nice dining experience.

This place The Yard is so amazing. My fiance and I wanted to go to a nice restaurant that we sit down. This was my first restaurant that was so classy and beautiful. I ordered the fillet which melts in your mouth with twice baked potato, fried okra and fingerling carrots. My fiance had gnocchi that was very delicious i got to try a bite. Can't forget the bread and butter we got as an appetizer. It was three different bread types with amazing butter with herbs inside. So everything i ate was so fresh and delicious. I've never had okra and it was so yummy. But that's not the only thing that's amazing the moment we walked in the gentleman Dee he greeted us and was the sweetest.. Also the manager was very personal and came brought our food to us. We had very good conversation with both the manager Jordan I believe that's his name as well as Dee. I really recommend going and having great food with great People that work there.

This restaurant is a part of the Elyton Autograph Hotel. The food was really good. I had the short ribs which were tender and flavorful, the grits were perfect, and the collard greens were great! I enjoyed every bite. My husband had the burger and fries. I tried this and it was juicy and flavorful.

Cocktails were great too! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a wonderful dinner

So glad that this wonderful restaurant was connected to our hotel, the Elyton. It was such a warm and welcome treat. The food here is amazing! We ate breakfast (try the blueberry waffles!) and dinner (the mussels are SO good!) and we weren't disappointed either meal. In fact, the mussels were so good that I'm eating pre-dinner just so I can have them one more time before returning home. ? The level of customer service at The Yard is so inviting and special. Bre and Kayle make you feel like part of the family. They're both so attentive and make the experience at the restaurant one to remember. I can't wait to return. Try here! You won't be disappointed. Oh, try the lavender martini too. Your tastebuds will thank you! ❤️

Dont let the fact that The Yard is inside a hotel deter you from giving it a try. It's a beautifully appointed restaurant serving "elevated Southern fare". While the menu is fairly limited, the food is good. The service was on par. I feel like the server was fairly new, inexperienced, but friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The strawberry basil smash was good. Not the best I've ever had, but not bad. The deviled eggs were delicious and gorgeously plated. The gnocchi dish was just okay. A bit gummy, and definitely tasted better than it looked. Not the most visually appealing. The mocha panna cotta was very good. A bit sweet, but a nice texture and flavor. All in all, a nice meal, handy for those staying at the Elysin Hotel and open on Sundays, which many restaurants aren't here in Birmingham. I would go again, I think.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
My fiancé took me here for one of our date nights and it was amazing. The atmosphere, setting, location and overall experience was exceptional. The menu options are vast (it’s never the same so I appreciate that), and their drink menu is vast as well. Our food was delicious as well as our dessert. Our waitress was real attentive and informative. We are returning when we have the time.
