First time going to Great Wolf Lodge. Lots of fun activities, games, and attractions for my little ones (8),(4). We brought or own drinks and snack for in between breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We bought the Wolfpack add on for both of the little ones when making our room reservation . This was enough for us as far as add one go. We were able to play all the games , enter the water park , get a free tub of candy, free ice cream, and play in the arcade along with some free play for each of them. We only stayed one night but we only live 20 minutes away we figured we could come back again if we didn’t get to get to everything in one night stay. Next time I would like to at least stay two night so we don’t feel rushed getting to do everything. Also at checkin we were able to add on the late check out which allows you to check out at 2pm instead of 11am. Definitely worth it!

Not as great as our last visit but still a good trip.

Came on 3/24/25. Upon arrival it looked like the entry sign had burned on one side. About 50 feet later we found out parking was not free anymore ($15 now), then another 50 feet past that it looked like a sign had been broken by a vehicle. This place was PACKED due to spring break so check in took a while. IF YOU ARE DRIVING, put your wristband on your LEFT wrist. Almost everyone I saw is having to stop and get out of their cars to scan them since that is how you enter and exit...which does not seem very effective. We got Wolf passes for the kids but they ran out so gave us printed versions which is fine, however for a place that is half famous for a water park paper does not do well. It also looks like they changed what comes with a wolf pass. Last time we got an engraved magnet as part of the experience but that is now dropped.

Other than this it was status quo. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is the same. I'm just hoping that these negatives are not part of a downward trend. I like the place and want it to succeed.

My Wife, son and I took a 3 day trip to The Great Wolf Lodge after hearing about it from friends. We were absolutely blown away. From the Guest Services to the Water Safety program their life guards followed. I think for me the most impressive part was there staff. Amazing, simply amazing. We had one encounter that was less then perfect. It came up in casual conversation during check out and the employee went and got her manager. She didn't tell me she was doing it. When the manager came over and asked me why i gave the trip a 9.5 out of a 10, I told her without any frustration in my voice what had happened and she went out of her way to make it right. Even though I had not asked for anything. They didn't have to do that but they insisted.
My favorite part of the trip was my sons reaction to everything he got to do there. He was so happy no matter what we were doing. It was the first time my wife and I have ever just let our son go swimming without one of us watching him directly. We had complete faith in the staff. Our room was awesome. It had a small room just for my son with bunk beds. The resort is setup to make kids the focus no matter where you go. But also has Bars and restaurants for adults, which were all amazing let me add. Some of the best Pizza I have ever had... Over all, I am beyond impressed with The Great wolf Lodge and we will be going back but staying much longer then 3 days.

Imagine a water park on a scale that rivals Disneyland – that's what this place is like. It's huge, and honestly, a bit daunting at first. We quickly realized it's not the most intuitive for first-time visitors. Thankfully, the staff is exceptional. Every interaction, from the front desk to housekeeping, was positive. As expected, the chlorine smell is strong, and the sheer activity level was a lot for our son with sensory sensitivities. With some planning (noise-canceling headphones and earplugs were essential), he had a wonderful time. The food was just okay, so we recommend exploring nearby restaurants. The rooms were a pleasant surprise – spacious, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. For extended stays, skip the self-check-in and go directly to the front desk for your passes and wristbands. It took us a day to get the hang of things, but by day two, we were fully enjoying the park. It's a fantastic place for a family vacation, just be prepared for the initial learning curve.

Room was immaculate, clean and spacious

Service was amazing, the lovely young lady at the front desk who goes by the name "Stacy or Stacey 🤔" was extremely helpful and pleasant to speak with. She made the entire check in process comfortable and smooth.. as well as the others I spoke to at the front desk.

Location is a nice tucked away spot but not too far out of the way

No hidden fees , no drama , no attitudes and everyone was very attentive, but with a respectful distance

Room was great just a lot of hair and dust every u looked! Water park was the best although my daughter crocs did get stolen but the staff was on it and found the kids who stole them and got them back for us the same night! The big problem I’m having is trying to get my deposit back after staying 3 nights! Nothing was wrong with the room or anything they say they released the fund but my bank said they didn’t so idk what going on hopefully doesn’t happen to anyone else!! Just keep an eye out for your deposit at the end!

The beds were extremely uncomfortable, all night you can hear everyone in the rooms next to you yelling and banging around. We didn't sleep much at all.
Half the slides were closed at the water park, some workers took pictures of my son with out asking me and took it upon them self to think it's ok to just start taking pictures of him.
The whole place it's self is just over priced for parents to go and enjoy a fun vacation with their kids it was literally just a money pit. It really wasn't enjoyable at all. I was happy to leave and we'll probably never go back. I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone because it's a rip off to even stay there.
You don't get free parking when you already pay a ton to stay the night?
You don't get towels so you have to walk back to your room in the cold with your kids because you can't take towels to your room. The whole place is a giant scam.
The only thing I can say is the staff there was very nice. Other than that it's not worth any of the money.

My family and I recently stayed at Great Wolf Lodge in Manteca, and unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. Throughout the night, other guests were running up and down the halls, repeatedly kicking our door. When I asked them to stop, I was met with profanity. I tried calling the front desk multiple times, but no one answered. The disturbance finally stopped close to midnight, but by then, my young children were terrified and struggled to fall back asleep.

In the morning, I spoke with the front desk and was surprised to learn that there are no security cameras in the hallways, which is very concerning. Sadly, my kids now don’t want to return, which is disappointing given how much we spent on our stay and meals. I expected a more secure and family-friendly environment, and this experience did not meet those expectations.
