The parking lot is gated which made us feel our vehicle was safer. Room was quiet, comfortable and clean. The bed was firm with fresh smelling sheets. Cookies available when you check in. Breakfast was plentiful and good - waffles, eggs, potatoes, toast, apples, oatmeal, cereals, juices and coffee. There’s a bar in the evenings and small gym. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Positive: The price, the breakfast. Snacks available for purchase. Easy check in. Facility was clean and nice. Negative: You can hear everything outside room and outside the window. Trains nearby people talking in the parking lot. Best to have white noise playing in order to sleep. Bed was ok, not the best quality.

This Hampton Inn is the least performing compared to most Hampton Inns I have stayed in as a Hilton Honors member. The handicap accessible room bed was old, lumpy and unsupportive. The hand-held shower spray had no pressure and did not emit spray. An inability to see through windows due to build- up of dirt on screens and windows. The rooms were not very sound proof and the hotel and street noise was loud and disrupting a decent night sleep. The complimentary breakfast menu included ill-cooked oatmeal and lacked toppings available in other hampton inns stayed at. Coffee was not available in the lobby except during breakfast time of 6:30 am - 9:00 pm.

With all other lodging options in Bakersfield - my review urges you to look to one of those for your accommodations in this region.

Our soccer club had a morning game in Bakersfield so we decided to stay here the night before. We reserved 12 rooms. The staff was ready upon our arrival. At check in all our key cards were ready and separated by room type. As Team Manager it made my life easier. I was able to simply pass out the room assignments. The rooms were great, clean, fully stocked and they had so much space. The King rooms are a great choice for families. The room had a kitchenette area, living room, the shower and toilet are together and separate from the sink. The room comes with a fridge and microwave. Greg was phenomenal. When I say he was a 100/10 ( no typo), he was so attentive and knowledgeable. Very professional and thorough. The breakfast was great. They even provided different types of meats throughout the morning. They have two waffle makers and about 3 types of juices. Coffee was amazing. Fruite, bagels and more. Plenty of seating and tv in the lobby. Right by the hotel are gas stations and places to eat. I highly recommend and would most certainly stay again.

We stayed here several years ago & it has kinda gone downhill. The room didn’t seem very clean & the freeway noise was very loud. The equipment in the fitness room needs updating as the machines didn’t work properly. The carpets need cleaning too. The only good part was breakfast. This is the only Hampton Inn that still has the bagel toppers in the breakfast rotation, this was a very pleasant surprise.

Impossible to find! Construction isn't complete on Hwy 58, so my updated GPS can't find the hotel. The same highway on ramp hasnt been constructed for two years. I drove 967 miles alone in one day, unpacked, and the shower didn't work! The breakfast was horrible. One of the worst in a Hampton I've ever had. Do not recommend. The worst is that the bed was not a Hilton, and not one feather pillow! Since COVID, Hilton has gone down the tubes.

Right off Hwy 58. Staff at the front desk on arrival was very friendly. The room was clean but starting to look a bit dated. Breakfast was pretty good. Was out of eggs, sausage and potatoes, must have been a rush before me. Lots of noise from the highway but it's easy to access on and off the freeway.

We stayed here just one night while on a road trip. The greeting at reception was friendly and we both had decent rooms. The included breakfast was good quality. I liked the location as we were travelling towards Death Valley National Park so we missed the heavy traffic going into Bakersfield in the morning.
