Café Kitsuné (est 2024) is one of the newer additions to Silver Lake's coffee shop scene. This new cafe sits adjacent to Maison Kitsune's first West Coast retailer.

They have a modest selection of coffee, cold drinks, tea and pastries. Its aesthetics decor compensate for its small space; seats/tables were close to one another.

I was warmly greeted by a young white male barista. I had a regular Cold Brew. It was pretty modest in taste, albeit not smooth. Price was fairly competitive. Parking in the area is challenging. Overall, it's a decent coffee shop but it will tough to compete against other well established coffee shop in the area.

The coffees were excellent and the prices are high. We loved the chocolate hazelnut croissant and that it’s dog friendly! There is a small seating area. Coffee comes out a little slower than your average but the quality was strong.

First time here. Greeted by the barista. Very warming and kind. Parking can be a challenge. Price is fair. They have a lot of selections of coffee, tea, cold drinks, and pastries. The decor compensates for the small space.

Overhyped & Undrinkable

Came for an extra hot cappuccino, left wishing I could erase the taste. Worst coffee ever. Instagram fooled me—aesthetic online, disgusting reality. Filthy seats sealed the deal. Not worth it.

The ladies in there were so nice and went above and beyond. The coffee is delicious and not watered down. I got a latte and they tried adding some of the other syrup from another drink and experimenting for me and it turned out beautifully. I will return. This will be a new coffee spot for me when I come into this area.

The cafe is cute, but my matcha both times were pricey and just okay. I tried their special matcha one with butterfly pea tea and it just tasted like regular matcha with oat. Prices are high considering, and service was slow. I also did not like my pastry. It didn’t taste fresh.

I had the nicest experience here this morning.

First, there was a woman, who had just ordered before I walked in, beaming with excitement about the place - turns out she’s lived in the area for a long time and loves this new addition to the neighborhood. Her energy was contagious.

I ordered an oat milk latte and slice of banana bread, and both were delightful. The latte was incredibly smooth, and the banana bread was tasty and not overly sweet.

The atmosphere is cute and well-designed. I was in a rush to get to work, so I ordered to go. Next time, I’ll hang out longer.

The staff was also kind and helpful, happy to explain the different pastries to me.

I’ll be back soon 🙂

Great asian inspired croissants, excellent traditional lattes. Chill music and love the atmosphere. Service is really good and friendly too. Clean vibe, a nice switch-up from the industrial modern look and noise of other nearby coffeeshops. I love coming in and getting work done.
