Popolo’s catering was a huge hit at our wedding! We opted for a buffet style dinner that was suitable for all of our guests— including our French family from France, Mexican family from Mexico, and American friends. There was something for everyone to enjoy, even the vegetarians!

From start to finish, Popolo was attentive to our needs and we were in constant communication. We enjoyed having a tasting with them and they were easy to work with when it came to altering any dishes and add-ons. We also opted for a petite wedding cake made by Popolo’s Tasha to go along with our dessert station (I highly recommend the decadent desserts option).

They’re kind and attentive professionals who truly know what they're doing—you won’t be worrying about a thing on the day of your wedding and we appreciated this!

We felt very fortunate to have Popolo Catering at our wedding! The day of the event was absolutely worry-free because of how well prepared and experienced the entire Popolo staff were. They knew exactly what to do from arrival through clean-up, and several of our guests commented on the excellent service. We had a wonderful experience coordinating with Tasha before the wedding; she was extremely responsive and flexible to our requests. Chef John was also a pleasure to work with; we had a backyard wedding and he did a walkthrough of the venue well in advance to make sure set up was seamless. And on top of all that, the food was super tasty! Popolo will work with you to curate exactly the menu you want.

From the very beginning of our wedding planning journey, the name that everyone was telling us for a catering company was Popolo. We couldn't be happier that we went with them. They were very accommodating during menu selection which was great considering how picky my wife and I can be! The food was delicious and our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they loved it all. The staff was very friendly and did a fantastic job as well. If you're looking for a wedding caterer, Popolo should be your only call!

My husband and I were lucky enough to book Popolo Catering for our June 2022 wedding. We moved from the Central Coast to the Bay Area about 7 years ago, but when we got engaged I knew I wanted to be married in the place I had called home for more than 30 years. Most of our wedding guests came from out of state and I wanted to share a taste of the Central Coast with them. Popolo's hit it out of the park with Santa Maria style tri-tip, roasted chicken, strawberry salad, grilled veggies, potatoes au gratin, and French bread. They were even kind enough to make us doggie bags for when we got back to our hotel (which was very appreciated)! The Popolo staff was professional, attentive and courteous. The buffet and pass hors d'oeuvres were displayed beautifully. We are so grateful to Kat and Leon and the entire Popolo team for a delicious and memorable wedding weekend!!

We were married in Templeton on April 1st and being that we are based in Los Angeles we relied heavily on recommendations for our vendors. Popolo was highly recommended by our venue and some friends who had them cater their wedding the previous year. From getting a quote through their website to our first meeting with Tasha at our tasting and then finally onto our big day everything was super easy and streamlined. Anyone who has ever planned a wedding knows how important convenience is, and Popolo took care of almost everything. They had a very professional and kind staff, flatware and glassware rentals, linens, licensed bartenders, and most importantly delicious food, of which many of our guests went up for seconds. Tasha worked with our coordinator and us to make sure everything was seamless and she was very kind and always quick to respond to our questions. She even helped us find our DJ, who was fabulous, and put together a delicious pistachio cake for us to cut at the reception. We would definitely recommend Popolo to cater your wedding or any event.

The buffet style meal we ordered was set up beautifully, promptly, and kept warm throughout the event. Many of our guests said the meal was most superb, and there was plenty to go around.

Throughout the planning process Popolo was transparent about included services and offered great advice. Owners Kat and Leon treated us like family, and we really felt that way on our wedding day.

I would definitely recommend Popolo to any friends or family looking for a reliable caterer in the area.

My husband and I were blown away by Popolo Catering and their incredible service and team. Everyone we interacted with at Popolo was extremely kind and helpful, and the food was amazing! Chef Michael and the staff that worked our wedding did a phenomenal job and provided outstanding service to us and our guests. Popolo was an absolute lifeline when our original caterer for our wedding fell through. Leon and Kat were a complete delight during our tasting, they truly care about every aspect of what they do! They were wonderful to work with as we went back and forth and back and forth indecisively over our menu (it was so hard to narrow down, everything they make is so good!) and on the day they were absolutely perfect! The table setup looked amazing, the entire staff was warm and outstanding, and the bartenders absolutely killed it with our signature cocktails! We were originally so worried when our first caterer fell through but with Popolo it turned out to be a blessing in disguise a thousand fold. We're still getting our guests reaching out to us to tell us how much they loved our food (and I still dream about the brisket). We can't think of anyone else we would have rather had serve us our first meal as husband and wife - and I truly cannot recommend Popolo Catering highly enough. If you're looking for a caterer for your wedding or any event at all, look NO FURTHER! Popolo is amazing!
