Haven’t visited in a while but it’s hands down my favorite sandwich shop!! The staff are nice and helpful, and the food is fresh and delicious. I always get the angry bird or the jalapeño popper haha

Great deli, great prices. The deli case salad are delicious, the Sicilian deli salad is so yummy. The coleslaw and potato salad is so good. Great drink selection and chips too. The sandwiches are fantastic and the service was awesome, if you were curious of the salads they did offer a sample and it was great so you could know what you were getting before hand.

Perry’s used to be my go-to spot whenever I passed through Middletown. The food was always a solid 10/10, and the staff was great. Unfortunately, my last two visits were disappointing enough that I won’t be returning.

The first time, our group of five ordered sandwiches, but the experience was far from what I remembered. The employees seemed annoyed by us and were noticeably cold. Two of our five sandwiches were made incorrectly, and the bread tasted stale. While dining in, we asked for extra napkins, only to be rudely told that we had already been given some.

The second—and final—visit was even worse. It was just two of us ordering hot sandwiches, with a simple request to change the bread on one. We were the only customers at the time, and I noticed they were using the wrong bread. I pointed it out before they got too far, but instead of correcting it smoothly, the employee argued with me until the cashier stepped in to confirm I was right. I then watched him throw away the wrong bread, push down the trash with his hands, and immediately start remaking my sandwich—without washing his hands. That alone was enough to put me off, but when we finally got our food, the quality was nowhere near what it used to be. The sandwich I had requested with a bread change was drowning in mustard, almost as if it was done out of spite.

I can accept the occasional bad meal, but the rude attitude and lack of care for food handling are deal breakers. Unfortunately, Perry’s is no longer on my list.

Every time I go to or through Middletown, I stop by Perry’s and get #20, the Tri-tip sandwich with no cheese, no bacon, no mayonnaise nor mustard, just a little extra BBQ sauce.

Sometimes I also get chips.
Sometimes I also get a single-serve, factory-sealed beverage.

I always use the bathroom and though dated, it’s always clean.

They also have deli items like meats cut-to-order, premade salads, etc.

Friendly service. Plenty of free off-street parking. Indoor and outdoor seating.

all I know is I bought the number five barbecue tri-tip sandwich with extra tri-tip and my sandwich was about an inch thick for $13. I was expecting something way different than what I got. Mary disappointed and won’t be ordering that again. A lot of their sandwiches are small and spendy

I love stopping here for lunch whenever I'm in town. It's a great country drive if you want to get a way and enjoy a great meal. The workers give great recommendations and have always made us feel welcome.
There are plenty of large rocks near the river bed if you want to have a picnic with a peaceful view. Perry's deli is definitely worth the stop. The trip tip sandwich with some veggies is my absolute favorite! Two thumb up!!

Nothing beats Perry's Deli, so when I go through Middle Town on my way up to Cobb Mountain I always stop!
Beanbag Charlie and his little stab Torpedo Anne were having a Lake County shindig at their cabin up their on Black Ash Ridge to celebrate the completion of their rebuild after the last fire. It seems like they have this rebuild celebration every two years or so, and since it's a Lake County shindig, I've got to bring my own food...And Perry's Deli hits it out of the park! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆
