A gem in Paso Robles! Excellent, comfortable accommodations. The room was very clean, comfortable and amazingly quiet. You could not hear any road/highway traffic. The cleanliness of our room was spotless from the bathroom to the overall living space. The balcony had comfortable chairs to enjoy morning coffee or evening wine. Customer Service was exceptional. Norman rocks! He was helpful, friendly and made you feel so welcome. The hotel/motel is easily accessible to wine country and fairgrounds. There's a yummy diner down the street, a walkable distance, called Margie's if you want delicious good old fashioned diner food.

We stayed here on Dec 27-29 2024. Absolutely filthy. Service was terrible. Staff was rude. We had nasty filthy sheets so we went down to the office to get Service at 9:58 pm. Sign says they close at 10pm. No answer at the office. My wife walks back up to the room to get her phone so she can call in and finally gets a response at 1002pm... we're closed!. She explains the situation and mentions in addition that we don't have a remote to the TV. They respond, "we're not laundry service... we don't have sheets" WTH? The walk into the square in Paso is too far. The place is full of transients. It's just not a good, clean, safe or friendly place to stay. It's certainly not worth the money we paid to stay there. There's a Courtyard Marriott equal distant that much better and same price. Don't waste time on this place.

When we arrived, the person at the check-in counter said little to nothing during the check-in process.

The first night the people staying next to us were very loud. The noises lasted until the following morning. I asked the manager at the desk if we could change rooms. He originally offered to put us in another room on the opposite side of the problem room.

Obviously, that was not a valid solution to the problem. It was then agreed upon that we would clear out of the room and come back later for a different room. That didn’t happen.

We had to spend a second night next to the problem people. When I expressed my disenchantment with our experience, the manager raised his voice and intimated that it was all my fault. No apology

It seems that when armed with multiple solutions for good customer service, the option of doing nothing should not have been high on the list.

Norman at the front desk warmly greeted my friend and I as we arrived. He suggested some great places to visit downtown. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located across from the fair grounds.

I stayed in a 2-bed room with balcony for 3 nights. The hotel seems newer and everything was in good condition. The room and bathroom were "normal" hotel clean, the bed and bedding were exceptionally comfortable, and bathroom towels were nice. The location is easily accessible by the 101 or Spring Street, area around the hotel is fine and quiet at night, and distance to the downtown area is ~12 blocks.

There is no breakfast or restaurant in the hotel, other services are "basic". Pricing was appropriate for area, comfort, and services.

Would I stay again - absolutely.

It’s a motel, but everything is brand new. The bathroom and shower are really nice. The mattresses are a bit too soft, though. The service was okay. I guess it’s all about the price - a new motel room for so little is totally worth it!

Came for Bday Weekend Getaway.
Hotel IS NOT conveniently Downtown as stated.
Rooms looked ok, however the following morning as I'm laying in bed, I'm greeted by some type of black bug in the sheets with me .
Hunny, picks it up and discarded it in the bathroom.
I call the front, spoke to the owner, he asked me if the critter was gone, when I replied yes, he asked, " what can I do 4 you?" I suggested maybe 50% off our first night stay, his reply was, " No, I can't do that, you already got the room at a cheap price through your 3rd party " ( Booking.com bcuz I'm a member and I travel often)
To Me, that shows terrible customer service 😑)

Not downtown. If you’re looking to walk to the cute main square with lots of winery tasting rooms and restaurants, this hotel is actually a 15-20 minute walk down either a busy main road or a quieter road with no sidewalks.

Otherwise this motel was clean and close to the 101 - if you’re driving to see wineries of both sides of freeway it’s a good location. You can park near your room. It has an elevator.

Several of the building’s outside doors were not working while we were there.
