Renae's cafe is not in your typical place where you would find a restaurant a hidden place you hear people talk about to make you go look for it. We are happy we found it. Depending on which direction you come from either fruitvale or coffe rd you can easily miss it when driving by. We got here for lunch on Sunday they were very busy. We were welcomed right away and were seated. The staff were very friendly got are drink orderd and was told the specials and are server answered any questions we had. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger was going to get a double decided on a single. I thought it was going to be a regular bacon cheeseburger you normally get at any place. No was i wrong It was so delicious ,it did not disappoint in flavor or size. It was seasoned very well and the size of the bacon cheeseburger was big I was getting full halfway eating it. I definitely wouldn't have finished the double if I had gotten that one. With thick cuts of bacon lettuce and tomatoes with lots of pickles. I love pickles so the amount they gave me was perfect. With lots of fries no skimping on the fries i mean full serving of crinkle cut fries season and crispy it was enough to share with my husband who got the mushroom burger with a side salad. Alot of good options for next time to try. Comfortable atmosphere small but doesn't feel like your right on or too close to other tables.

I love this place! You feel like family here. The waitress are very attentive to your needs. Even when they are busy, you are seated rather quickly. Food is amazing. Place is always so clean. Renae has no problem getting in there and helping out, from waiting on people to cleaning the tables off. If anyone is looking for a great place and food then stop by!!

Came in today and ordered the ribeye
(Rare) And got served a ice cold ribeye. I told the server about it and they said that's how they serve there rare ribeye. Really? Ice cold in the middle. They said they can microwave it for me. Really? Microwave a ribeye? No thank you. I didn't want a new ribeye I simply wanted it cooked a little longer but they didn't want to do it. I took the steak home and cooked it better than they did. I won't be coming back. You lost a long time customer over a cold ribeye.

I had a pretty good visit, the restaurant was super clean. The food was delicious, I had the Chile Verde omelette with country potatoes, and a pancake. Next time I will go for the hash browns because I did not feel the country potatoes did not meld together just right. Unfortunately the service wasn't there, I did not feel welcomed and I felt rushed. Maybe it was one of those days for them but I would definitely give them another try.

Well, we were in the neighborhood and hungry. Saw the massive amount of 5 star reviews. Place was packed, but we were seated quickly, and promptly waited on. I went with the Meany Melt and the wife got Chicken and Waffles. My sandwich was cooked well and the side of fries were also cooked well. But the Melt was just kinda blah. No seasonings and just boring. The wife thought her Chicken also lacked seasonings and was also just kinda dull. She said her scrambled eggs were cooked great but again no seasonings used. I'm not discounting the other reviews but we will probably not be going back. We were just underwhelmed and unimpressed..

My husband and I came here on a Sunday morning at 11:30 AM. We were seated almost immediately even though they were pretty busy. I ordered the special of the day cinnamon waffles, and my husband had the biscuits and gravy. We both loved our food. The service, food, and price were all great I highly recommend.

Delicious food, great service, fun and relaxing environment. I have been wanting to go here for a while due to their extremely high rating on google maps (I think the highest I've seen in town) and it did not disappoint. The cobb salad was absolutely huge and came with a very generous portion of good blue cheese. There was a ridiculous amount of meat and the bacon was extremely good and obviously made in house. The clam chowder was probably the best I've had from a non-oceanfront restaurant. Really liked the chunks of crab in it. The fish and chips were a little heavily breaded for my taste but the pieces of fish were large and delicious.

Hidden gem!Love this diner! Service was great, menu options have variety. Prices are reasonable, the sad and downside is that this diner closes by 2pm.
