Concerning Experience During Recent Stay||||Dear [General Manager’s Name],||||I am writing to express my concerns regarding an experience during my recent stay at your property on the evening of March 28th. I had traveled a long distance to participate in an important tournament scheduled for the following days, and unfortunately, my experience upon arrival was far from welcoming.||||When I first arrived, I found that my room key did not work. I had to return to the front desk three times to request assistance. The front desk staff member on duty, a woman with straight black hair with partially white strands at the front, responded unprofessionally. She accused me of not knowing my room number and displayed an unhelpful attitude when I inquired about the parking situation.||||When I requested an extra towel and blanket for a friend who was arriving later, she insisted it was against policy and suggested I needed to add an extra person to the room officially. She even went so far as to threaten to call the police when I expressed frustration about the key card issue.||||Fortunately, a gentleman on staff who spoke Spanish came to my room. I demonstrated that the door lock was indeed faulty and that my key card was not working properly. This interaction helped clear up the misunderstanding, but it was disheartening to have been wrongly accused in the first place.||||What added to my frustration was the change in the staff member’s demeanor when my friends arrived later that evening. She treated them with kindness, provided them with towels and extra blankets without issue, and did not charge extra—something she had previously denied me.||||Because of my apprehension about being locked out of my room again, I avoided moving my car to the gated parking area, despite it being safer. I was simply too exhausted to deal with another potential issue with the room key.||||Earlier in the day, another staff member, a friendly African-American woman, had assured me that I could receive additional towels and blankets upon my return. Her professionalism and warm demeanor stood in stark contrast to the treatment I received later.||||I do not appreciate being accused of dishonesty, nor do I tolerate discriminatory behavior. While I strive to remain professional in all situations, this experience was particularly disheartening. As someone in the hospitality industry, I believe your staff member should have exhibited greater professionalism and empathy.||||I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope that my feedback will contribute to a better experience for future guests.||||Lastly, when I informed ||Her about the room having a bug inside, she totally ignored me, unfortunately, I cannot upload recording on this platform.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel in Bakersfield. After driving for five hours with my family, we were looking forward to a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, that was not the case.

Upon arrival, we encountered poor customer service from the night shift staff member, Lisa. She was on the phone for approximately ten minutes while my husband waited to check us in. When I requested that she assist us first, her response was unprofessional, and her behavior became increasingly rude.

When Lisa took my ID and credit card, she continued to ask for my last name in a manner that felt disrespectful. I also inquired about a late check-out, as we checked in quite late at 11 PM; the fee of $17 seemed excessive, and when I voiced my concerns, she became argumentative rather than helpful.

Additionally, after receiving our room keys, there was no guidance provided regarding our room location or parking, which added to our confusion. When I returned to ask for directions, I was met with rude comments that were both uncalled for and disrespectful.

Our room itself did not meet expectations, resembling more of a one-star accommodation, with issues such as dusty carpets, peeling wallpaper, and cracks in the walls. We attempted to request a refund, but we were informed it was too late.

I believe that customer service and the condition of the hotel are areas that need immediate attention. If there are measures you can take to address these issues, I hope to see improvements for future guests.

I will definitely stay here again. Great value and while the rooms need updating, they have obviously started where they can and where it counts (brand new carpet for sure). The front desk and restaurant staff is outstandingly polished and welcoming, to the point where it kind of feels like staying with family. Not sure how they find so many great people! The service does not feel at all like a budget hotel, although some of the decor does (and I mean, they are priced like it so why not). The restaurant is cute and a good value.

The basics are all functional— room is warm and clean and plenty of hot water

The room was exactly as advertised on The Choice App - clean, quiet and comfortable. An added bonus was the safe and secure parking located behind the hotel with security fencing and gates. A total peace of mind knowing that my vehicle was in good hands.

Finally, the best surprise was that the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel if needed and will frequent it when I'm back in the Bakersfield area. Thank You! ❤️

5 star rating from me! Great staff, front desk clerk Rosie was amazing in accommodations! Very quiet, jacuzzi was beautiful, room was spotless, very relaxing! I will be back and I live in town lol! Only one suggestion, put microwaves in the rooms. I'm sure they don't because they have the restaurant that offers such an affordable lunch and dinner and free breakfast. 😋 I just would have liked to cook something that's on my meal prep. But either way five stars!

My new favorite hotel in Bakersfield will always go here whenever I'm in this area. The rooms are nice and clean huge tvs in the rooms. The connected restaurant is pretty good and has amazing prices for hotel guests. The breakfast was indeed fantastic as the front desk lady had mentioned upon check in also they have the best shower I've ever had in a hotel. The rainfall shower head is amazing and they have great water pressure.

Positive: The people and the architecture, nice lobby with real plants, complimentary breakfast and deals on meals hotel employees are insurmountable. Great bar with good staff.Loved The Koi in the pond. Negative: I understand the surroundings so staff need to follow rules, but sometimes it seems like the staff has their hands tied. Which don't need to apply. The complications should not be on patrons or employees

I recently stayed with my children and had an extremely disappointing experience. We arrived late at night, after 10 PM, and were greeted by a staff member who was incredibly rude and displayed a terrible attitude. It was clear that she lacked basic customer service skills, and she even mentioned that her bosses were aware of her behavior and the poor service she provides.
The condition of the room was equally unsatisfactory. We noticed cracks on the roof and walls, which made the environment feel unsafe and unwelcoming. Overall, the hotel's facilities and service were far below even a one-star standard.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The combination of poor service and subpar room conditions made our stay very unpleasant.
