Had a wonderful morning riding the trails accessed from the ranch. Beautiful part of the county and a true delight to ride through the SDTC facility. Next time….longer ride, today was a shorter ride, by our choice, due to the heat wave in the San Diego’s east county. Still, was perfect and highly recommend.

Drove in, on my 2 year old birthday. With no appointments. They had a opening and allowed my daughter to have a horse back ride. Really reasonable price. And really good with my daughter. Highly recommend this place

Great experience with no experience required and fairly priced. An hour long ride on their private property is a good amount of time for your first ride. Will definitely book again.

We had an amazing experience celebrating my daughter's birthday with a horseback riding adventure! Our guide was incredibly nice, patient, and informative. She took the time to explain everything and was so gentle with my daughters, making them feel comfortable and confident. The trail ride when fine at first but I could tell that my mount, the gelding Jasper, was not a happy camper. When I first saw him, he showed the whites of his eyeballs and laid his ears back-telltale signs of a horse in a bad mood. I should have asked for another horse. To make a long story short, he reared on me, and I was thrown to the ground. Fortunately, I was only bruised, nothing broken. The only thing I will say to the handlers is that I think you need to think twice about letting another customer ride Jasper. He doesn’t seem to have a good temperament.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent horseback ride at San Diego Trail Company. Our guide was so friendly and helpful with one of us being a first time rider. She was very experienced and gave us good tips and good conversation. We saw 2 coyotes on the trail which was thrilling. The horses were great and well behaved. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great experience!!
