My husband and I visited for lunch today and it was our second time there. The new owners are terrific and very kind and wearing smiles and enthusiastic to see us and all the food who came in. The rest of the staff is just as friendly. The sandwiches and salads are great! I had my sandwich with homemade focaccia and it was the best bread I've ever had. Freshly made and very flavorful. We will be back. 😊

Had a catering order and worked with the owner Ed directly. He was very accommodating for all my silly requests like specials sides of items/toppings, separating the cheese from the salads, providing veggie versions of sandwiches. The food was presented well, sandwiches were wrapped wonderfully and inside the sandwich was clean presentation and not sloppy. The deli meats were folded over inside and not loosely hanging out of the bread. I was impressed and happy with the results of the order.

I LOVE the San Marcos Deli! Kim and Ed are so kind and make the atmosphere so enjoyable. The food is always delicious, from the acai bowls to bagels to sandwiches to homemade treats!

I ordered the Tuna Melt and it was yummy! I love how evenly they cooked the sandwich and it’s not overly oily for my taste. The tuna tastes very fresh and I can tell the whole sandwich was made with love.

There is a bit of a wait but trust me it’s worth it!

We LOVE the SM Deli!!! The service is always amazing, the owners Ed and Kim are so friendly and kind! They make the best açaí bowls and smoothies in SoCal! It’s always clean, cool, great music and ambience.
