My boyfriend and I frequently stay at this hotel, but the very first we stayed here we left valuables in the room, and to our surprise everything was returned to us. The integrity of the staff is amazing! The manager Stephanie is very helpful and super professional! I recommend staying at this fine establishment.

Budget friendly good staff and comfortable bed. Good location for USATF Races. We came down from Canada for the racewalk race. After the race we hopped on a nearby trolley line to see San Diego. We enjoyed our visit. Only drawback was the lack of a comfortable chair in the room.

The young lady who works nights was a true gem! Not only did she indulge me in my lengthy query but she was extremely knowledgeable about the eateries around the neighborhood. Her interest in my questions and her full attention to her our conversation regardless of the content of my words made me feel welcome &heard. Customer service lives on, and you'll definitely find it here! Thanks for making my evening better&for giving me more faith in your generation, LOL! Also the regard she has for her guests privacy was unheard of to me outside of the healthcare system. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Solid hotel. Many probably complain because one cannot sneak pets in this property. The lady at the desk is very pleasant and efficient.

Location is great. Close to shopping, food, highways.
That's where the positives end.
The room was disgusting. There was mold on the shower curtain, and in the fridge. The furniture looked like it had been in a flood.
The bed felt like a combination air mattress and spring mattress..

We were in a non smoking room, but our blanket had several burn holes in it..
The door didn't sit in the frame properly, so there was massive air, and noise, leaks.

It was pretty bad. I'm glad we were only ever there for sleep and I got an insanely good rate during spring break, otherwise I would have checked back out of my 5 day stay the second I got into the room.

My kids and I stayed here for a week and the location was super convenient - close to stores, restaurants, and only a few minutes away from the freeway. It was very affordable and staff were all helpful and friendly. The room was clean, had everything we needed, and they will still come in daily to clean the room if you want, unlike a lot of other places. Definitely recommend it.

It’s a nice, quiet, and peaceful hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s our first time here in San Diego area so when we asked where to go, they recommended some few great places such as the Harbor Cruise, Sky Ranch, etc. We really enjoyed our 2 nights stay here at Rodeway.
