I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic, situated right next to a variety of food options and easily accessible from the highway, making it perfect for both travelers and those looking to explore the local area.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Their warmth and hospitality truly made a difference in my experience.

As for the rooms, they were comfortable and impeccably clean. It was clear that attention to detail was a priority, which made for a very pleasant stay.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay.

This property is my first choice when I need lodging in the greater San Diego area. I have stayed at several other locations recently and found none to match the overall experience at the Escondido location.
First the Staff: Friendly, accommodating and professional, always with a smile whether at check in throughout your stay. It is a standard practice for the front desk to text shortly after checking in to insure the room is satisfactory without issues.
The Property: Recently upgraded, consistently clean and very well maintained. After over one dozen stays I have yet to report any negative experiences. I cannot comment on the breakfast service since my schedule usually prevents any opportunity to experience. Considering all else I would expect no issues there either. On one previous stay I had forgotten a couple of items in the room and didn't realize it until after checking out. Room service turned the items over to management which held them safely until my return the following week. Much appreciated since they are very personal to me.
Lastly to sum up, Excellent overall experience, reasonably priced with no hidden charges such as parking fees which two other properties fail to mention at check-in.

Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful; for instance, when I asked for fresh sheets and towels after 3 nights of a 4-night stay to accommodate a different family member staying with me in the room there was no hesitation by either front desk staff or housekeeping. The bed is comfortable and the AC works to cool the room to the low 60s, even in the winter, to help us sleep. My only complaint is that the bathroom is too small for two people; sink has no counter space and the toiletries that are there get wet when washing hands. There is an electrical outlet next to the long mirror in the front hallway, but no place to set a hair dryer or toiletries.

Enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing stay at Holiday Inn Express in Escondido, CA. From our arrival through the stay, all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. We appreciated the Keurig coffeemaker in the morning, as well as an overall quiet environment. We were surprised to see children in the hallway, as we never heard them within the room.

20250215 One night only. Appreciate the Platinum status appreciation at check in and upgrade to one bedroom suite. Appreciate the free parking and breakfast. TIP - wait patiently until next door In-n-out drive thru queue opens up another lane to enter/exit to the HIE. Crazy lines day and night. Some concerns though was the very noticeable gap between the front room door and the door frame. Hotel bed was comfortable and room and bathroom and kitchen and living room area very clean and comfy.

This is an older property that has had some cosmetic updates. We had a room where the door wasn’t square leaving gaps in the doorway.

The property sits next to an In N Out Burger so getting in and out can be a challenge at times.

All isn’t bad…. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was decent

The hotel is nice and clean. The biggest problem is the What A Burger next door. The drive thru is in front of the parking lot entrance to the hotel. Trying to get into the hotel after 5pm is a nightmare, unless you know to drive through other businesses parking lots.

I travel for business and needed to change my booking dates due to business requirements. The hotel agreed verbally to allowing me to change the date and use up the credit of the original booking on subsequent bookings.

When it came time to use the booking on my next trip they refused and said "we don't do that". I explained that was what they agreed to. The person behind the counter lied and said that he'd never agreed to that.

They stole 4 nights accommodation from me by lying.

The hotel seems to have mostly holiday maker guests who have kids running around the breakfast room and people making telephone calls on speaker phone and watching TV on their phones without headphones. It's a noisey environment.

The room was good and some staff were nice; but I will never stay there again and warn any business traveller to find somewhere else.

Update:
I saw your reply, and rather just than just apply your standard template, you could try rectifying the issue of the lying staff member. That's the important message here, not the breakfast area.
