Yes I tried Mexican nachos at a bbq restaurant but it was very good. Always enjoyed their burgers and now have a choice. Wife had deep fried fish sandwich, may try the grilled snapper next. Beer is ice cold as it should be.

I was sooooo wanting this place to have good "Q", but I was terribly disappointed. I was initially impressed on the walk up, smelling the "smoke" in the air and seeing the "Trager" style double smoker out front.
My Wife and I ordered the brisket and tri tip chili with a couple other sides. What a disaster.
The "chili" was more like bland ranch style beans with zero visible tri tip bits.
The brisket was closer to burnt ends or pulled beef, NOT brisket in the proper BBQ sense. It was dry, bland and tough. The fat was not buttery as it should be for brisket either. I did see a nice smoke ring on some of the larger pieces.
The coleslaw was limp and flavorless. We had to toss it out since there was nothing I could do to fix it at home.
I did what I could at home to save the "brisket" and beans. Check the last picture on my post.
On the bright side, the servers were very sweet and attentive. The location was nice, right by the lake. Nice big parking lot. The garlic bread and corn on the cob were very tasty and fresh.
I understand restaurant owners are fighting to stay open and are trying to stretch their product, but sometimes you just have to cut down on what is on the menu or prepare smaller amounts of the slow cook items each day.

Brisket was very bad. Got a full pound of it and it was cubed like beef stew. No smoke ring on any of the cubes. No bark anywhere to be found. Friendly service. Good prices. Great drink specials. Worthy of another try.

My husband had a John Wayne burger and fries, which he loved. I got a delicious fish sandwich and onion rings and they were so good! Best tartar sauce!!! We each got a beer and probably would have gotten a second one, but the server was not as attentive as she could have been. Although she was knowledgeable and helpful about their menu.

This was a great place! The food was so good we actually ate here 2 nights in a row!
The girl who took care of was awesome - I wish I would have got her name.
We eat a lot of hot buffalo style chicken wings all over - I have to say these wings might be the best ones we have had! We actually ordered them both nights we went. The chili was also off the hook! We ordered a burger the first night to share and the second night we ordered the brisket and shared it - both were very good.
And kudos to our waitress - when we ordered the burger with the chili as our side - she spit it up into 2 plates and 2 bowls - just that little extra that made everything so nice.

The salad bar was very good; it had small pieces of broccoli, mushrooms, sliced red onion, many things I liked and good dressings. I had the smoked half chicken which was moist, very good, took most of it home. Price was quite reasonable, very affordable place for a good meal.

I love Romi's food. But the weekend chef is not as good as the weekday chef. Food is always better during the week
