Long review I’m sorry, but I need to leave details

Synopsis, small room, non comfy bed, no housekeeping, no breakfast, served expired food, got sick from food served. Sketchy residents. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

I stayed at this hotel with my girl from 3/19-3/22 and each day there was a new problem we had to overcome.

I do want to say, the staff was very friendly throughout and were very apologetic for the issues.

3/19 our room was small, smelled of mildew and the towels were wet. The bed was not comfortable in the slightest.

3/20 went down to get breakfast at 8:00 am (breakfast ends at 9:00 am) and there was nothing out there but bread and maybe 3 apples. I asked the front desk in case I had missed it and she told me, no I hadn’t missed it, but that they just had no food to serve because of a delay. I said okay and left. Our towels were still wet so we had to call to get more because room service did not service our room the entire time we were there.

3/21 I go to get breakfast at 7:30 am and there is bread, powdered eggs, apples and some yogurt. I chose the yogurt for my girl and I then went back to the room. My girl ate her yogurt and then got sick a little after and I went and looked at mine and what do you know, the yogurt they served us WAS EXPIRED!! I called the hotel and told them the issues we have been having and all she offered was a discount off our room (I was told $50 off my room before taxes and that’s all her manager would approve). At this point, I’m over this stay at this hotel and just said yes.

3/22 I go to breakfast at 7:45 am and there was the breakfast we should have gotten all along, cereal, milk, fruit, eggs, oatmeal, muffins and jams. I grabbed a few muffins and just for shits and giggles I looked in the fridge where the EXPIRED yogurt had been and there was THE SAME YOGURT BEING SERVED!

After all of this I check out and I told the front desk all of these issues and she said, I’m sorry you can call and talk to someone if you really want to.

I asked for an itemized receipt and saw that I was NOT GIVEN THE REFUND THAT I WAS PROMISED.

You should be ashamed of your hotel.

I have stayed here in the past and enjoyed it so much. In the past the breakfast was amazing and a truly continental breakfast, the front desk welcomed you with a gift bag and the pool had towels. This time everything was different and not for the better. The breakfast was truly awful. The first morning they didn’t even have eggs. We were left with bread and grits as options to eat with apples and some disgusting danimals yogurt. The pool no longer provides towels so you have to use the towels from the room. The WiFi kept disconnecting. My biggest complaint is that I am a rewards member and the company didn’t make an effort to reach out letting members know that they would no longer be offering these amenities. I confirmed with the front desk that it is a company wide policy that only the upper level hotels within the chain would offer the breakfast and other amenities.||I truly don’t believe I’d stay here again unless things change for the better.

My family and I stayed at this hotel while on our vacation 2/28-3/2. The customer service for check in and check out was excellent. We didn't use any of the hotel amenities as we were busy at the beach and exploring so I can't speak to that. The room we were in had one king size bed and two full size beds in the other room. Each room was a bit small with barely any space to walk between the bed and the wall. We were in a room on the opposite side of the freeway, so we didn't hear all the traffic however, we still heard noise from other guests like talking and slamming doors. The main complaint we had was that the beds were extremely uncomfortable to where it made it difficult to get a good night sleep for the entire duration of our stay. The hotel was in a good location as well at least we thought so. Will we stay again? I'm not so sure but that isn't to necessarily say it's a bad hotel.

Awful night. Would not recommend this hotel. Had a deluxe king suite. I think a prison cell must be nicer. The lighting in the (living room) portion was 2 very dull ceiling lights. The sofa if you could call it that was a noughahide bench. No coffee table or other amenities. Not even a hairdryer. Won't ever stay there again.

It's funny how one person can ruin a great experience. However, I am not going to allow one person with poor judgment to affect my honest review. Let's begin with this, the breakfast hostess, Ms. Lucinda is a perfect morning host. A darling older woman, she runs her ship with professionalism and a smile. 5 star! Then there's the front desk clerks! Can I say amazing? Did I mention amazing? Anyway, on to the rooms. My family initially stopped coming here because they had roaches. Several years have gone by, so we thought we would give them another try. Skeptical as we were, they solved the problem. We know this because we stayed in nearly 5 different rooms over a week span (AAU Basketball tournaments), and not one crawly was spotted. This is a great place for sports teams. The rooms are large and spacious. There's kitchens in every unit. They provide all the cooking equipment for a $50 deposit, and the hotel is close to shopping, Benihanas, Jack in the Box, etc. The General Manager (seen in the video] is a new guy. I could rip into him for his out of place behavior, but why? He's clearly having other issues, and I refuse to allow his misery to become my misery. So we checked out. Would I recommend this hotel? To this, I say; every persons experience is different. Check it out for yourself. Just avoid this guy. When he's fired ladies, call us! We'll be happy to return. I just feel so bad for you having to work for or with a person like this. Kill him with kindness staff, don't let him change u.

Don’t get a suite. You would have to bring ALL your kitchen tools and I mean everything. Pots pans forks etc… terrible! I’m using a washcloth as a napkin. Lame!!! The sofa in the front room is the most uncomfortable hard thing ever and the TV had no streaming or even movies you can order. The ice machine is broken near my room. (Update the nice front desk lady told me I could have the kitchen supplies the next day. So they do have them. I feel like the guy who took over my check in was not helpful at all. He told me to unplug my video box to get my tv to work and had me walk down to the front desk for a plastic fork even though I could have been given the kitchen accessories because I booked a suite. He also wrote down the internet password wrong and I had to it figure out! Why he wrote the number one correctly but not the other two number one’s that looked like 2’s or 7’s, idk. He also treated a best western direct client way better than me, in front of me. I booked through booking.com. I even asked the sweet young lady why he was so willing to refund them their room but when I asked I was told I went through third party so…this part of my review was updated after my second night stay) Seriously

Should have just booked a regular room. Had to call to the front desk to get WiFi only because i didn’t know it was on the room key envelope. Had to call for a plastic fork. Had to call to get my tv’s to work HAD TO CALL…

I will update this review after my stay. I’m hopeful a good night sleep may change the vibe! Fingers crossed it gets better. I’m grateful I have a place to stay tonight!

(Unfortunately my room smells of mildew! I don’t see any mold though. It stinks! May be under the carpet or in the walls. The girl who checked me in was really kind though. I want that noted!!! Service didn’t get dicey till the gentlemen took over and she went home. I love her! And she deserves 5 stars!!! I’m allergic to molds so my eyes are burning and my cough has kicked up. Windows open now but it’s loud outside so, no winning I swear! The cleaning staff and the breakfast server, EXCELLENT! The beds are comfy! Some good and some not so good. Two more nights! This part of my review was updated after two nights.)

This is by far the biggest letdown of a best western i have stayed at. I am a diamond member. The front desk guy, Sergio, was the only good thing about this property!
The (breakfast) was round paddy foam rubber eggs!!! No sausage, no bacon, no ham or not even potato's. This was like a vegetarian breakfast. My room with a so called kitchenette, had not one dish or piece of silverware!!! This motel needs new management...

For a Best Western this hotel was far below standard. First thing on entering the room had a terrific mold and mildew smell this smell carried throughout the 2 bedrooms. The beds were old and worn. The décor of the room was outdated. The funny thing is that they did not send me an email to fill out a survey.
