This would have been my third stay here but I had to cancel by emergency. They were very respectful and nice to cancel. If you actually call and explain your situation they will work with you.
We used to live here in San Marcos, but with living costs we had to move far and every time we have family gatherings/ events or stay locally for work we select this hotel for their customer service and for their prices.
It is close to restaurants and coffee shops , as well as colleges and schools.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We're in town for a wedding.
The front desk agents were friendly. Check in and check out were quick and uncomplicated.
Parking lot was spacious and had a lot of available stalls to park in.
We had room with king size bed. The mattress was in between soft and firm. Pillows were very soft. The bathroom did have some chipped paint on one of the walls. Other than that, the room was nice. It was spacious for 2 people.
There is a pool on site. It looked well maintained. We didn't use it as it was colder weather. I'm sure it would be great in warmer weather.
Easy access to restaurants, a gas station, fast food places, and a Starbucks. Very convenient. They were walking distance or a short 5 minute drive from the hotel.

I had 2 rooms March 17-18, 2025. My room barely had water for my mom to shower and when I went to shower there was NO water. I had to go to my sister’s room to shower and almost no water there either. When we checked out the front desk girl said that happens all the time and asked if we knew how to turn a shower on. The manager wasn’t onsite so she called him……I asked for him to comp the room or a discounted rate…he said he would have to have maintenance go look at the room and would get back to me. Well guess what….he has not got back to me. I have emailed and left 2 messages for him.
This is the second time we have stayed here……never again!
I would advise no one to stay at this motel/ hotel.

During my stay. While I was sleeping a housekeeper completely opened my door with their key card. I heard them trying to door and began to scream "hello" and "I am in here" however they proceeded to open the door. They opened the door wide enough so that they could see me and with force. I did have a chair against the door because of safety concerns. They opened the door hard enough that the chair was completely moved out of the way. The housekeepers response was "oh sorry" and slammed the door shut. For the rest of the morning, I heard people by my door and moving the knob. The manager, Alex refused to give any refund even partial. My privacy was violated. But he claims "It was human error" and my "privacy was not violated" He also gave me a huge run around on the issue for a week. DO NOT STAY HERE, they will open your door and it is very unsafe. Regardless of the hotel, no employee should ever open your door at 9AM .

DO NOT STAY HERE. I had an employee open the door during my stay very early. I was screaming that I was in there, but they proceeded to open it completely and didn't take accountability. The manager said it was human error. This hotel is UNSAFE. Aside from the employees opening the door. There is people wandering the hotel all night and you are able to hear screams and them talking in the halls. I noticed many people sleeping in the parking lot.

Positive: "" Negative: I stayed in a non-smoking room that smelled like a freshly smoked cigarette, with freeway noise and light coming in to the room all night. Some of the worst sleep I?ve ever had. I will not be staying here again.

i had stayed here for two nights and for the 3rd night i booked my room at 5am which is 6 hours before check out when i booked my room on the confirmation email i says that the earliest i can check in was at 3pm i was asleep in my room because i work late night shift im a traveling nurse and i have my own business which requires for me to be up late so when it was heck out time I over slept for a hour so when front desk call me I ask the ladies to give me time to check out because I already reserved my room online but in order to get my room again they said that I have to check out than check back in... so I had to go handle business after I checked out so I came back around 7pm and they told me they could not rent me a room because I checked out late even after me explaining everything and telling them i was not from there I live 6 hours away and all hotels near by was booked up its late night and the whether was horrible, it was pouring down raining and I told them I couldn't see to drive any where and I might have to sleep in my car which what actually ended up happening. the manager did not care and told me that they still couldn't rent to me remind you I was already having problems with them rooms when I first got there I begged them to move me because the room they put me in had no shower curtain had cigar holes and stains every where and most importantly the heating did not work... overall I advise no one when I say no one I mean absolutely no on to stay here the front desk and workers all look like they are on heavy drugs and are don't have paper work to be in this country.. someone really needs to shut this horrible unprofessional place down

This hotel is there a nice the rooms are very clean the people who work there are very kind they serve complimentary breakfast it was a very good experience very easy checking in and out
