This Family-Friendly Property With Customer Service Oriented Owners Will Exceeded All Expectations

I can't say enough good things about La Costa Paradiso and its owner, Destry, but I will say that renting this particular vacation home was the main highlight of our Southern California vacation. We are so pleased we decided to book it as we found ourselves wanting to be there, opting to hang out by our heated pool with our two sons who are 6 and 4).

The property is perfectly located, a few minutes from all conveniences (groceries, Starbucks, shopping, playground, restaurants, Costco). And it was just 10-45 minutes away all the attractions that were important to us (Legoland, San Diego Zoo, Children Pool Beach, Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, La Jolla Shores).

When we arrived, a little later in the evening, it was a wonderful surprise to be greeted with a bottle of wine, a non-alcoholic apple cider (which the kids loved), and a few cold beer in the fridge. The house was already very well stocked with condiments, coffee and the likes so we only had to buy the main staples for eating and not all the extras, saving us on food costs.

The house is located on a quiet street, very private. It was super clean and well organized, with a helpful binder that explained everything we needed to know.

The beds were super comfortable and this was the first time I've ever been on a vacation where I actually preferred the pillows to my own pillows at home. Even in the nicest of hotels, I usually prefer my pillow at home. As a result, we slept very well here. And more importantly, so did our toddlers!

The setup was perfect for us, especially because their is loads of security in relation to the pool. Our boys can't swim, so there is an alarm on the patio door, a lock from the main part of the patio to the poolside, and then a locked fence around the pool. We always felt secure with our boys wandering in and out of the house onto the patio.

I'm not sure what to say about the pool except that it was simply AWESOME! So is the poolside hot tub. We used the pool at least 3 times per day. When we first awoke, usually sometime mid-day, and always before bed. The kids and I couldn't get enough of it. And since the house came with all the pool toys, life jackets, etc that a family needs, it was always where we wanted to spend our time even though the weather was somewhat cool which didn't matter with the pool heated to my liking!

I would go on and on about how perfect this home is but I'm limited in the number of words and I've just maxed out!

We totally enjoyed our stay here.
Inspite the rainy days, we were able to enjoy the area. Breweries, The San Diego Zoo, Legoland, walking the neighborhood and our trip to shopping centers. Von's and strips.
