Last year i ordered a fried turkey and a sweet potato pie Rhonda made the pie

Wow! What an experience... It was a feast for the eyes and the palate. Chefs Mario & Rhonda they spoiled us with no measure.
Every dish was a "celebration" from the chicken satay, to the BBQ tri tip, to the shrimps... What else? Just name it💙

This was the worst soul food I've ever tasted. Not authentic at all. They catered a Thanksgiving event for Peace 4 Kids on 11/18/23. First off The greens were extremely salty, lacked the seasonings that make a good pot of greens . When making greens without meat you're suppose to add liquid smoke and apple cider vinegar...(not sugar) to get that flavor right. The roasted potatoes were hard, undercooked and also overly salted. The yams were not candied, they were mashed sweet potatoes with sugar and not buttery, I'm sure they used margarine instead. The so called Mac n Cheese was fake kraft cheese powder or Velveeta. Not a single shred of REAL CHEESE was used. How do you make Mac and Cheese without Real cheese?🤷🏽‍♀️ It's sacrilegious to do so! Full plates of food were thrown in the trash with the same complaint. What a waste of resources.

It was very dissapointing because with a name like Grandma's House, the care of providing authentic southern soul food should always be the highest order for those you feed. The integrity of Recipes should be maintained above all else. (Maybe you don't have any?) Otherwise, you're just like every other commercial fake food joint in and around LA. One request is to Please lay off the heavy handed salt. Black folks already suffer from high blood pressure.

We ordered from Grandma's House Catering for our company Thanksgiving lunch this year and everyone said it was the best Thanksgiving meal they've ever had! The turkey was full of flavor and very juicy. The sides were super yummy - everyone took seconds and thirds. Rhonda and Mario were super friendly and so easy to work with. We're definitely ordering from them for our next corporate event. I'm going to hire them for personal parties too!

We used them to cater a celebration of life for my Gran. They were so friendly and helpful when we spoke, as I had never used caterers before. They made it easy and stress-free and it was such a pleasant experience. We had a variety of desserts and everything was delicious. They set up the table beautifully, and it was absolutely perfect. Everything got compliments from our guests. It was fresh and full of flavor.

I'm from South Carolina and am constantly missing that good soul food you can tell was made with tons of love. Grandmas House Catering hits the nail on the head with all of their incredible and creative dishes. They take famous southern staples and add a creative twist without losing the integrity and intention of the original dish all the while elevating it to another stratosphere. Case in point: THEIR STUFFING. DO NOT MISS THE STUFFING. Also, their signature dessert: Creme Brûlée Bread Pudding is an idea so wonderful you think it can't possibly taste as good as it sounds...but then it tastes better. Their fried turkey was the best I've ever had (again, I'm from the South so I've had tons of fried turkey.) I've experienced Grandmas House Catering in the capacity of a dinner for 12 and as large as a corporate event for 500. They can do it all. And they do it all very well. I'll be seeing you soon, Mario and Rhonda! Thank you for everything.

Love their food and I love the owners! I had Grandma's house cater my work's holiday party and cater for my wedding. The food was amazing and I got so many compliments from my guests and coworkers. The owner's are so sweet, funny and you can tell they have a passion for food. I definitely recommend them!
