Great location in Carlsbad. Lots of restaurants a short drive away and a nearby Costco. Carlsbad has lots of free parking compared to other coastal cities. Rooms in the resort Cove area are large. We had a two bedroom lock off The lock off was fairly large with a bed and a sleeper sofa, a small fridge, microwave and sink. The Cove pool was very large area with hot tubs. Although people were putting their small kids in it so it probably wasnā€™t warm enough. There is a slide but only open a couple of hours a day. |The midweek room service wasnā€™t up to normal Hilton standards. We had to request refills on coffee, TP, dishwasher tablets, tissues and washer detergent. Not delivered that day or the next and had to call again to get it. |The place is great and have stayed here many times as a HGVC owner however this time we used RCI points that we deposited Hilton timeshare points during Covid to make a reservation. However in addition to the RCI fees we had a daily parking fee even though we deposited Hilton points that our maintenance fees already covered parking. Service desk blamed RCI but the money goes to the resort. |Of note if you are arriving in the month of February go to any library and get the free San Diego Museum Counsilā€™s Museum Month Pass. It gives you 50% off of 70+ museums. It also included Lego Land which has an access gate across the resort parking lot so you donā€™t have to pay to park. The San Diego Botanical Gardens was also included and was fantastic. In addition the San Diego Safari Park also offers free entry to 55+ during February.

Great vacation resort in Carlsbad, California. Huge pools with multiple hot tubs along with fun family activities. MarBrisa has corn hole, connect four, and fire pits by the pool. There is a bar with food at the Cove pool area. Pool towels at the pool with laundry rooms in each section of buildings. The private walkway to Legoland makes the walk over nicer than parking your vehicle. The rooms have oversize mini fridge with freezer, dishes cups and utensils.

My husband, my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter spent a week on a RCI exchange. The two bedroom lock out was beautiful. Spacious rooms and lots of privacy for two families. We took advantage of the private entrance to Legoland. it was a very convenient location, near shopping and lots of restaurants. I also appreciated the fact that once we told the staff that we were not interested in purchasing a week, we were never bothered again during our vacation. The people at the front desk and the concierges were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Mar Brisa , and would definitely return again.

Our unit was ready when we arrived. It was one of those studio/one bedroom combos with the lockout between. We just opened it up to have more room than we really needed. The bed (there were only two of us) was comfortable and the arm chair and sofa were, as well. We only used part of the options of the full kitchen, but it was nice to have. ||The location was within walking distance to a special entrance to Legoland and to the GIA museum and the Museum of Making Music. We were across from the larger pool area with the fitness center, so that was convenient. ||Getting to Carlsbad's old town, to locations in the Palomar Airport area, or to a grocery store were easy and quick. We'd definitely go there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mar Brisa. We recommended it to friends who joined us and we were delighted that they also enjoyed their stay! From Sam at the front desk, to Estrella and other team members in housekeeping, to Megan at the GM's office - we were there for a longer stay so we got to know people! - we were very happy with our experience. The Mar Brisa grounds are so large and so well maintained that you can have an outdoor fitness routine or leisurely walk whenever you'd like. And it is a short walk to two other hotel properties with more restaurants to choose from. Thank you!

We loved our condo at MarBrisa. We were there for a family trip and the location was great to head North for day trips and south to go into San Diego. ||The condo was an awesome 2 BR 2 bath and we loved all the space as well as the views.|The property is beautiful and we all wished we had brought our swim suits because the pools and hot tubs looked amazing! We were all adults so didnā€™t avail ourselves to the private entrance to LegoLand but wow it was so close and so easy. We also loved being within walking distance of the Sheraton and Westin. ||We will absolutely return

We have stayed at this property before and it never disappoints, even in the winter time!!! They are always making improving to the property and activities. Beautiful rooms & property. Amazing, friendly staff. Keep it up. Thank you so much for a wonderful getaway. šŸ¤™

Overall disappointing and wouldnā€™t return. Pros: Nice rooms, nice campus, walking trail nearby. Pool area is great, they play relaxing music in the morning. Cons: itā€™s $35 for parking a night, which is only listed on their website in the FAQ section. The complimentary water is not advertised and itā€™s the tiny bottles. Restaurant hours are not up to date and things were closed for winter. I booked this place for the convenient food options and so I could lounge by the pool with a beverage and a snack from the poolside bar but it was closed! I would have absolutely stayed somewhere elseā€”the website is so misleading and says itā€™s open. The grab and go breakfast spot was also closed and the restaurants would close mid-day and reopen. My room had an excruciating squeal coming from the faucet and I didnā€™t have any body products available. I asked for more and they didnā€™t come. I also never put my do not disturb sign out so I get the room refresh, but I received a text saying I was skipped because I had the sign out. The coffee maker didnā€™t work. The spa was mediocre. This place is probably nice to visit with everything open and with more transparency and information about whatā€™s going on and what amenities you have access to.
