The Cafe and Hell's Kitchen has great tasty, hearty food and excellent service! The staff is always kind and attentive, which makes a huge difference! And the meals are served promptly. We've been to one concert so far and that was fun! Our suites have been amazing too! The only thing that needed a little attention was the bathroom door in one of the suites, which had open slits from top to bottom that needed some dusting. Otherwise, our rooms have been very clean and beautiful, and the balcony with a pool view and the surrounding scenery is just WOW!

Harrah’s Resort Southern California, nestled in Valley Center, delivers a fantastic getaway with its vibrant casino, spacious rooms, and gorgeous hillside views. The pools, including a lazy river, are a highlight, perfect for relaxing. Dining shines with options like Hell’s Kitchen and juicy steaks at Fiore. Service is friendly and attentive, though Wi-Fi fees can sting. Just 30 minutes from Temecula, it’s an ideal spot for fun and luxury. Highly recommend for a memorable escape!

We came here for our son’s 30th birthday for one night. Upon check in we were greeted by Roberto who went out of his way to accommodate our group. We had originally reserved two rooms and requested to have an upgrade to a 2 bedroom unit as we were babysitting our 11 month old grandson that night so that our son and daughter in law could enjoy a night out to themselves. Roberto kindly upgraded us to a suite with a connecting room for a very affordable price. We really appreciated having the extra space and convenience of the connecting room.

Disappointing Experience for the Price

This hotel is decent, but definitely not worth the high price tag. While they do offer a lazy river, you’re required to bring your own float. After swimming, you’re left dragging a wet float through the hallways and into your room — extremely low class for a place that charges this much. They should provide floats or at least offer rentals.

There was no complimentary water in the room. When I asked, I was told it was available at the bar, and what I received were tiny, baby-sized bottles. It felt cheap and unrefined — not at all what you'd expect from a hotel charging premium rates.

Overall, the place feels cheesy and overpriced, with service that doesn’t match the cost. The experience was underwhelming and not guest-focused. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're okay paying a lot for very little in return.

Wanted to write an updated review. As always the rooms are spacious and clean. The casino is a good size with lot of slots and some video poker. People are nice here. Can get a little shady looking in the late night/early morning hours. The main thing I complained about was food options and they have added a few more food places in the food court and Gordon Ramsey is good. Chinese food is good too. The coffee and Mexican restaurant is just okay. All in all things are looking up.

Was a guest at the hotel on 03/24-03/25
During the night time when I was trying to cash my winnings the machine wouldn’t read it. Said to go to the cashier. The person at cashier put me to the side said someone with upper management would come left me there for about 10min kept attending other people. Finally Justin came manager during the night I guess. Left me there talking went to slot on other side of the casino to check if voucher were valid apparently? Never happened to me ever before. Didn’t give me any explanation or anything then finally gave me my money( like $300). I didn’t receive an apology for my time wasted now about 20min didn’t really get details as to what happened. I had to follow Justin to try and see what happened or some kind of explanation and he shined me off said I couldn’t complain to anyone or anything that he was the boss. Very bad customer service least a water bottle while I waited . Which I don’t why they had me waiting in the first place. Finally he laughed and just walked away. Joe and anycha from the bar were way more helpful and apologized for Justin’s behavior. Big props to them made me feel less mad about the whole situation. But Justin should’ve been more friendly more helpful he professional.

GROSS on the housekeeping. I wasn't in the room for 3 minutes before I noticed TRASH under the chair. Box of Whoppers . . . I bet it's still there. So we were out late & got up early to hit breakfast at Pauma so I brushed hair, brushed teeth & we were out. Went from Pauma to Valley View & didn't get back to about 8:p.m. Went to get in the shower & noticed a wash rag in the shower . . . neither my husband nor I put it there so obvously the lazy maid DID NOTHING while cleaning the room. Makes me cringe on what else she skipped on.||Room was good size & shower is big with great water pressure. No coffee makers in the room means a trip downstairs every morning. With the money they haul in they got rid of coffee makers? ||Having wasted $50 bucks on a lousy breakfast not long ago we took a friends advice & drove the 10 minutes to Pauma for a good steak & egg breakfast for $8.99. I'd do the drive any day before wasting money on Harrah's bland food. And the staff @ Pauma is so much nicer. They must like their jobs. ||I'm seeing a pattern at Harrah's casinos . . . unhappy & unpleasant employees. In the last few years we've been to Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, Laughlin & So Cal . . . the majority of their employees seem to be pissy all the time. To me that's a reflection in management . . . which is also evident with all of the run down properties Caesar's now has.

We had free nights here so decided to check it out. We wish we hadn’t wasted our spring break time off coming here - I’d have rather paid to stay somewhere else. Its in the middle of nowhere but we thought with all the food options and pools, we’d have plenty to do. Wrong!
The rooms were great! The hotel besides the rooms, terrible. We were also sad that we got a dive in walkout room but the gate is just for show - it doesn’t work - there’s even a plant in front of it. So we couldn’t even walk out to the pool like we’d hoped. The casino is old and dirty. Everything around the hotel is closed. The brewery, corked, the main cafe, the chicken place… all closed. I was excited that there was a margarita food truck - they only had hot dogs and two beer options. We tried to order at smashburger - they didn’t have most things on the menu. The nicer restaurant that has oysters - closed during the week. We just were left with minimal options. We were able to get breakfast at Starbucks…
We got in at 6pm on a Tuesday and everything was closed. The bars, restaurants, fast food. Everything had a closed sign up. It was pretty busy, so that was surprising. There’s a small corner cafe thing that has premade food - not good, but the only option. Also the staff in most places were SO rude. We were just so disappointed in this place.
