Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad is a solid spot for a chill, upscale getaway. The grounds are beautiful, with gardens and fountains that make you feel like you’re in an oasis at times. Rooms are spacious and comfy, though could use a little refresh.

Food’s great, with a nice variety of options to keep you happy. The golf course, spa, and pools are all on point.

Service is friendly and mostly helpful, but during busy times, you might have to be a bit patient.

Overall, it’s a gorgeous place to unwind. Not perfect, but definitely worth the stay. Four stars!

The property is beautiful and expansive. All the staff was helpful or eager to help. I was there for a conference but my family and I was able to sneak in a trip to Legoland and the SD Zoo as everything seems to be within 30 minutes ride, depending on traffic ofcourse. Food and drink on resort are excellent quality, but as expected on the high end of the price spectrum. The pools are great with multiple options. We rented a car and parking was ample, but could easily get by using ride shares. Hope to come back but not for work this time!

Large beautiful resort. Excellent for conferences. Would recommend banquet services for breakfast and lunch, NOT dinner. The rooms come in many varieties all of which are lovely. The staff is fantastic! Plan on getting your steps in, it’s a BIG PROPERTY!

We rented a pool cabana on Resort Pass. We had the best experience. I took five 12 year old girls for a pool day. The service was impeccable. Tammy was our server and did an excellent job. The staff were friendly and helpful. The girls loved the two pools and water slides. The food was very good and we loved all of the amenities. We will be back!

Our girls had a great time at the pool, and we thoroughly enjoyed the spa. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was great . I absolutely loved the spa, and the lady who gave me my massage was amazing (I’m sorry I forgot her name). I mentioned that I have sciatica, and after the massage, I felt so much relief and no longer experienced any pain. I’m truly grateful to her. We’ll definitely be returning here again.

We had a great stay at Omni La Costa! The property was very well maintained and beautiful landscaping. It was relaxing yet still close to the beach and restaurants.

Beautiful setting, grounds, kind staff. Very mediocre food, rooms. And food itself is scarce if there is a conference occurring. All restaurants booked out for private events, room service menu very limited, and subject to 90 minute wait. Rooms are tired, furniture worn, shower drain smelled like it needed to be snaked. Thank goodness this wasn't a vacation, as it would have been very disappointing. This brand needs to do better, be better, and not over extend itself if its not able to adequately serve its guests. The poor staff are doing their best, but it's an uphill battle. This is not a brand I will choose in the future.

Great room and beautiful grounds. The staff was fantastic from the front desk to the folks on the grounds. Great experience at check in and the room was immaculate. I was there on business where usually great resorts fall short. The Omni exceeded expectations.
