We had an amazing stay at Marina Riviera this past weekend and couldn't be happier with our experience! We stayed in one of the cabins and it was perfect--clean, quiet, cozy, and well-equipped for a relaxing winter getaway.

The location is unbeatable--right across the street from Big Bear Lake and just a short walk to Pine Knot Avenue, where there are plenty of restaurants and shops. We only needed to drive when we went skiing; for everything else, we were able to easily walk, which was a huge plus.

Despite the cold weather, the heater and fireplace kept the cabin warm and inviting. It was stocked with thoughtful touches like board games, blankets, robes, and a mini bar with snacks, and the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking meals. The bathroom had great water pressure, and we were provided with plenty of towels, which was much appreciated. We couldn't wait to retreat back to our cozy cabin at the end of each day.

The contactless check-in process was seamless and super convenient, and every staff member we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful stay with no issues and felt this was the perfect place to experience Big Bear. We'll definitely be recommending this spot to friends and hopefully returning soon ourselves!

Stayed in a cabin and it was so quaint but also well appointed. Appreciated the detailed touches like luxury linens and parachute branded towels and complimentary mountain valley spring water. Cute tapestries and wall art. Chic fireplace that was also, fortunately, easy to operate. And the heating was strong! Loved how walkable it was to the Village area. All of this for an incredibly reasonable price. Excellent value for upscale accommodation in Big Bear. Will be back!

My wife and I had an amazing weekend at Marina Rivera Hotel Cabins, where the mid-century charm and cozy atmosphere made for a perfect retreat. The stylish, clean cabins were comfortable, and the location was ideal—walking distance to everything. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay seamless. We loved the unique aesthetic and convenience, and we can’t wait to return!

(This review is for summer time during main hotel refurbishment). Felt set up for “influencers” to get selfies, with focus on finishes like cute room decor over comfort and accessibility. Perhaps we missed this in booking info but didn’t realize cabins were across a very busy street from lake. Perhaps things were different for cabins set back from street. We arrived to an AC being rolled out of our cabin and temps within so hot that it wasn’t habitable. When we inquired for help, the person who we were supposed to text for anything to during our stay offered cancellation with fees. We had to ask for fans and eventually a manager who was very nice and said they were running to store for a new unit. Other than a list of places you could find via Google, assume you are on your own as far as navigating activities. Beds were incredibly uncomfortable to top it off. No access to lake; no shuttles to town or mountain, no real help planning activities. Do not recommend for a summer stay with family. Consider other places at least until main hotel refurbishment is complete. I have to wonder if we caught them during a rough week or our cabin (closest to street) is the lemon or something but just not great and bummed to have spent the money here versus one of the other options in this amazing place.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marina Riviera Hotel in Big Bear Lake, specifically in Cabin Three, a two-bedroom, one-bathroom accommodation with a kitchenette. I cannot express enough how much I enjoyed my time there.

First and foremost, the room was fantastic. It was spacious, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchenette was a great addition, allowing us to prepare our meals and save some money. The beds were comfortable, and the overall cleanliness of the cabin was impressive.

The service at the Marina Riviera Hotel was top-notch. The staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions we had. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and memorable.

In terms of the overall experience, it was nothing short of amazing. The location of the hotel is perfect, offering breathtaking views of Big Bear Lake. We had a super fun time exploring the nearby attractions and taking part in various water activities.

From the moment we arrived until the day of our departure, everything was great. The Marina Riviera Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way possible. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Big Bear Lake. It truly deserves a five-star rating for its great rooms, excellent service, and overall unforgettable experience.

My stay at Hotel Marina Riviera in Big Bear Lake was incredible. The lake view from my room and the cozy bed were highlights, and the place was spotless. Being able to walk to the village shops was super convenient, and the staff went above and beyond, even getting us a microwave. Admittedly, the soundproofing isn't perfect – you can hear some noise from other rooms, and they were renovating during my February 2024 stay. But it didn't ruin the experience. To avoid the minor noise, I'd recommend exploring the local cafes and restaurants; after all, you're in the mountains for nature, not to stay cooped up in the room. Overall, Hotel Marina Riviera is a fantastic choice for a Big Bear Lake getaway.

I loved staying here. I didn't want to leave. The weather wasn't great (rainy and cold) but being able to cuddle in a nice bed with a fireplace was so comforting. The staff was so accommodating and kind. I needed a microwave and they provided one right away (available by request, when not in use by other rooms.)
The villages are across the street so we were able to go get food and lounge when we wanted. A great stay. Comfy bed, roomy shower, spacious room. Big screen TV.
