Erick and Sauli were a dream a to work with for our wedding at Cuffeys Cove in Elk, CA. Our guests loved the food so much and the truck added an additional decor to the wedding. They were so sweet and even posted videos & reels of our day. We also got their charcuterie table which was also a major hit at our wedding. I also planned much of our wedding, so knowing that they had experience with the venue already was a major relief. They also offer a food tasting which I highly recommend so you can taste all of their delicious food!!

Once my husband and I had decided to get married at Cuffey’s Cove in Elk, we started googling catering in the Mendocino area. We had a food truck in mind and when we saw Pilon’s reviews and menu, we were very excited. I reached out and Erick and Sauli were so warm from the beginning. They gave us details on menu options, pricing and logistics, and without having a tasting due to the distance, we confidently booked them.

Six months before our wedding, we were going to go to the venue for a site visit and arranged to meet Erick and Sauli at the farmers market in their hometown of Ukiah. They were even more lovely in person and spoiled us with tastings of their menu options. We were blown away. The tequeños, the beans, the arepas. Everything was delicious.

Leading up to the wedding, they addressed all of our questions and concerns thoughtfully and quickly and even asked about our wedding colors and other details so they could decorate the already cute green truck so it would fit in with our aesthetic.

On our wedding day, they did not disappoint. They showed up delightfully enthusiastic. Our wedding day was on Erick’s birthday and were so grateful they still catered for us. The food was beautifully plated and all 94 of our guests had their plates promptly. Weeks later, our guests were still talking about how delicious the food was, something you don’t hear often after a wedding. Erick and Sauli, thank you for making our day so special!

Pilon Kitchen catered our wedding at Switzer Farm in May 2023, and they were a dream to work with! The amount of compliments we received (and are still receiving) about the food specifically at our wedding from Erick and Sauli just goes to show how amazing they are. They were so responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process, and then delivered above and beyond our expectations. Not to mention, the food was PHENOMENAL (still dreaming about those empanadas). Thank you to Erick and Sauli! Erick and Sauli were amazing caterers. We hired them for a wedding on 3/30/19. First off, everyone was raving about the food. Everything was flavored perfectly. Service was seamless. They were able to complete dinner service for 80 people in around 50 minutes. Throughout the entire process they were great with communication. I strongly recommend if you need a caterer to give the Pilon Kitchen food truck a try.

Erick and Sauli were wonderful to work with for the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding. They literally went the extra mile for us going to the site in Philo to see what problems they might have getting their trailer into the venue in advance. They decided that the road was too difficult for their trailer so replanned the meal making use of the onsite kitchen.

Their food is delicious and unusual. The chimichurri sauce was fabulous and made all the wonderfully flavored food even better. They decorated the serving table with wedding decorations. We received many compliments about the food from our guests.
