Thunder Valley Casino resort was an oasis arising from the Lincoln area in California.
Super easy to drive around the area and finding it was quite simple because it was visible from the skyline.

Making reservations with simple dinner reservations were very easy with numerous restaurants, although two were closed in March.

First of all the rooms were very kept up fit and finish was attractive. Room service with quick overall the casino was very clean and kept modern.

I wish I could’ve given it a five star, but the smoke in the casino was a little much for our group. We frequently stepped outside to get some fresh air.

Now our rooms were very fresh we had no hint of smoke. The views were spectacular. The air was fresh and we would definitely be back to stay at this hotel.

Sidenote, if you want to get fit, it has a very nice fitness room with Updated weight machines, free weights, and stair steppers.

Spacious room! Loved the big window and view. The chairs with one ottoman were comfy too. The bathroom with marble floors was also so roomy with both a tub and a shower! Love the vanity! That was a big plus for me with the large wall swivel make-up mirror and great lighting. Plenty of towels and a smooth-gliding sliding frosted glass door. Also, it was most convenient to have the toilet separate from the rest of the bathroom with its own telephone. And the coffee bar!
The lighting was so nice and we really appreciated the space and the fine details that did not go unnoticed such as the super luxurious pillows, extra hand held attachment in the shower, the double closet doors that opened widely and the automatic light, as well as the buttons by the entrance door to press to display privacy or room cleaning service on the outside instead of the hanging door knob sign. It was our 29th wedding Anniversary and we really enjoyed the casino. It didn’t hurt that we got lucky too!

We have attended a few different concerts at the Venue. Not a bad seat in the house! Sound quality is great!|Great big wide easily viewed stage. A huge widescreen TV on each side of the stage each showing a zoom of the action on stage.|Three levels of seats. Plenty of seating.|Drink bar inside concert hall on left and right sides of each seating level. Food and drink bar on bottom floor. Modern restrooms.|Some great food options at reasonable prices for a live venue. The most recent concert was Air Supply with Little River Band. Awesome concerts!|Best and newest concert venue in the area! Hard Rock is a close second. Much newer venue than places in the Bay Area. Gets many main stream headliners from all types of music (rock, country, comedy, Vietnamese, R&B, Soul, etc). Many acts are at less than $70-100 per seat. Overall a great experience! Only downside is the mandatory walk thru the main smoke filled casino.

So I went to go see a show here last night and I will say that was the worst experience for a concert I have ever attended.. and I've been to ALOT of concerts. I paid $170/each for front row seats for me and my friend. From the second we went into our section the ticket scanning people WOULD NOT STOP BUGGING US if we were not at our seats!!! Literally every time we would and come back they would haggle us upon entry, and if we stopped short to talk to other concert friends (there's quite a few) here comes the ticket ladies bugging us to go to our seats, to the point where I was getting irritated and had to tell them to LEAVE US ALONE! we are in our section, already made it past the first wave of their scanners, they don't need to keep bugging us as we are socializing with friends and other concert goers, and you know what they did then? (after this happened multiple times) Took it up a notch and brought security down (to the front row where we paid for the most expensive tickets) Literally second row) and they kicked me out HALFWAY THRU THE SHOW. And I kept asking why, and the security guy just said, "you know why." No, I did not know why. Was it because I stopped to many times to talk with concerts buddies? Was it because I called them annoying as they kept haggling me every time they had a chance? Idk but I will never attend this venue again. As a business owner in the service industry I am appalled at the "service" I received last night. I wasted over $300 on tickets for a show I only got to see half of because of their incompetent and highly annoying staff that wanted to police so hard they kicked me out for Literally nothing. Maybe it's a managerial problem where they don't get enough freedom or something and they were trying to make up for it by doing this type of thing? Maybe the ladies don't get enough attention at home and they were taking it out? Idk... but like I said, I'm a huge concert goer and I will never come to a show here again. -"See" (all she told me her name was) and didn't give me her number (was hiding it actually)
-And Vincent (security guard) wouldn't give me his badge number and again, was hiding it so I couldn't see it. Said, "they'll know who I am"
I would highly consider letting these employees go as they are unfit for any type of job with any control over occupants. It seemed like they were in some type of "power trip" like how you would imagine a bad cop is..
Rant over. Never coming back to this place. Really wish I could get my money back, but of course, when your dealing with a huge corporation like this one, pretty much guarantee they won't make it right. Or even say sorry for that matter.

My wife and I recently spent 2 nights at Thunder Valley Casino Resort. Overall fantastic experience. Great rooms, wonderful Venue, where we saw Lady A. The best part of the experience was because of 2 fantastic employees. Originally we had only reserved Thursday night. We loved the place so much we wanted to stay another night (Friday) Valentines Day. Unfortunatley we were advised by the front desk that Friday night was completely sold out. Later I spoke with Hotel supervisors Aurora Grahm & Alex Coto. They both got on the computer and checked and re-checked and eventually they were able to find us a room. They were also very pleasant to talk with. Kudos to a great Resort and wonderful employees like them- We will soon return .

Thunder Valley is my favorite casino in California. The rooms are amazing, particularly the suites. Above all, the hospitality of this hotel supersedes any other around. Every employee we interacted with was beyond accommodating and made sure we had the best experience possible. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Huge shout out to front desk manager Lisa and her supervisor Bryan for extraordinary customer service. My girlfriend booked the wrong date so there we were at the resort with spa and dinner reservations but no room. Lisa went above and beyond expectations to find us a room despite a sold out house. She rescued our special girls birthday weekend from a major fail. We will be forever grateful. Once checked in, we enjoyed excellent spa services. I highly recommend expert masseuse Mary Ann. The spa is spotless. Be sure to allocate enough time to enjoy the Thunder Shower, dry sauna, steam room, meditation room, and complimentary champagne. Staff members are friendly and good at their jobs. We had a lovely birthday dinner at High Streaks. The “Jackpot” seafood platter was excellent, as was the service. Slot play in the non-smoking room was so fun. The rooms are large and luxurious. We will be back!

The Good- This Place is Huge! Very nice for the money and has a great staff. Came for a week of poker and slots, the rooms are very decent but a tad dated, almost identical to the Grand in Salt Lake City. Food was lights out Great!!! We ate at all of the restaurants but really fell in love with Fat Burger!!! One of the coolest things about Thunder Valley Casino is their players cards, you get 5% back on everything and it can be used for anything at the property! No limitations ||||The Bad - Some slots needed some serious cleaning attention and there are no self serve soda fountains or coffee bars so you must rely on some good and some not so good drink servers who are forced to wear dated casino girl attire. They did not look the least bit excited about it. (Black slacks, long sleeve white dress shirts and a waist high short logoed apron and a name tag would be a huge improvement.) ||||The ugly- I Wish this was a smoke free casino floor, they get busy on the weekends. Lets just say plan on washing everything you wear to get the ashtray smell out.
