We stayed at a Lakefront Chalet in the off season. Staff was so welcoming and nice. Very peaceful and relaxing. Upstairs the kitchen/living room was stocked with everything we needed. The downstairs bedrooms were clean and darker. We loved that no bright lights were shinning in our windows at night and slept so good. We brought food to make and also tried Duceys bar and grill. Everything was delicious, the drinks, Burgers, fries and nachos.
Thank you, we will be back!

This was our very first trip to Bass Lake and my husband and I could not have loved it more! We stayed in chalet #117 with our two dogs and were very comfortable with a slight lake view. Every single person we encountered at the resort was so nice and happy to help. In five days, we ate at every restaurant at least once, and it was all so good. Loved hanging out at the Pines Bar. We were so lucky to see lots of snow in town and in Yosemite. We also saw tons of wild animals including a mama bear and two cubs on site. It was a magical experience, exactly what we were hoping for. We can’t wait to go back!

Pines Resort is our favorite family vacation spot. They have things to do for all ages and is absolutely beautiful. The lake view is incomparable to anything else and we always look forward to coming back. The food at Duceys is delicious and the playground is clean and well kept.

Stayed in the lakefront chalet and it was so cute! Kitchen had nearly everything needed to cook. If I needed something the store was a short walk away. Rooms were clean and stocked with everything needed. View was amazing! The only thing was calling the front desk only to be put on a long hold but not a big deal. The last thing the ice skating rink was not ideal for skating at all. Keep in mind it was $20 for 4 of us to skate for 2 hours but we literally tried for 10 minutes before calling it quits. I’m not sure if it’s the rink itself or the skates weren’t sharp but skating on it was nearly impossible so it was a waste of money.
Other than that the resort was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. If you’re there check out the Angel falls/Willow Creek trail.

We always love visiting here. We actually prefer the off season just for a peaceful weekend getaway. The chalets are well outfitted with all you need to feel at home. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. If you missed any essentials on the way up, the market has most everything you need. We will be back soon! Thank you!

Overall it was a wonderful experience.
Had Chalet with lake view and lake access close to everything. Parking at both door entry’s. TV came with apps,
Upstairs had pretty scenery and views from balcony.
Duceys Restaurant food is just ok the wait service are great, drinks okay.
Downstairs room is where the 2 beds are very dark and gloomy. Comfortable mattress, clean chalet., and everything was working
Will be back

Please be advised that it is more secure to book with a credit card rather than a debit card, as it offers better protection. They do NOT clarify the amount of difficulty one may experience after booking online with a debit card.

Unfortunately, our experience was less than satisfactory, and we will not be returning. Issues such as black mold (which I reported), a broken microwave (eventually replaced), payment issues (after showing proof that it was taken out and confirming with my bank) and a stove that I had to fix myself, greatly impacted our stay.

However, I must acknowledge the exceptional maintenance staff who were always understanding and addressed our concerns professionally (They would receive a 5/5 star review if I could rate them individually!).

Despite bringing these issues to management's attention, I have not yet received a response from someone higher than the manager, as stated as such, by the manager herself. If someone has tried contacting (my phone screens every phone call/number that is not saved), I did not receive a voicemail, and would appreciate proof that someone tried contacting me if you try to state as such.

The assistant manager displayed unprofessional behavior and refused to take accountability, further escalating the situation by abruptly leaving during our discussion. Additionally, I have not received a refund, despite verifying with my bank that there were multiple attempts to withdraw money incorrectly (the manager tried to lie about this, and I caught her in the lie, which made her rather upset).

I was quite patient and kind, despite their mistakes and issues with the expensive cabin, until they started to back peddle and take no fault (mainly for the financial portion of the trip). It is so unfortunate, as my kids liked to run around and play outside. It would be nice to see more professionalism, and individuals who are able to take accountability for their mistakes.

Need a bigger more comfortable sofa upstairs. Love upstairs. Downstairs a little too dark and dungeon-y. The tv downstairs needs to be on the wall higher. Overall though we had a great time. Love being closer to the mountains. Parking is a challenge for people with larger vehicles
