While assisting an adult with disabilities, who is unable to read, write and drive, I was absolutely appalled with the attitude and treatment of this woman by the manager Sherri. This was my second trip to this branch in the last 5 days trying to help a woman resolve her concerns. This manager, Sherri was rude and dismissive of this woman both trips. I would think that as a manager one would treat all customers with respect. The young teller who provided assistance was outstanding and provided excellent service, especially in light of this woman's disabilities. The manager however was rude, dismissive and told the teller that the line couldn't be held up on the trip Friday. And today attempted to send the woman home with paperwork refusing to provide any assistance, telling her to bring it back tomorrow. I was so disturbed by the treatment of this customer today, I stopped and asked this manager, Sherri, if she was aware that this woman is unable to read and write, she said yes, she's known the woman for a long time. It's a shame that this customer, this woman with disabilities has been treated this way by this manager for any length of time.

I do ihhs work for my grandmother down in Bakersfield and she pays me to do so. One of the managers at this branch basically just accused me of fraud by saying my grandmother's signature is the same as my own. My grandmother's phone number is on the check. When told to call to verify the check she refused. This bank has the worst customer service from the managers.

Update: the manager told me if i ever give them a bad rating again that im not allowed to do business there anymore.

The main 24 hour number for A1 are on top of their game. Seriously the best. The Kernville Branch is awesome too. However, I have had a few issues with the lake Isabella branch. Small stuff like stating they would check something out and call me back, but don't. Or try to blow me off until I mention the name of the last person that blew me off. Two people in particular. However I won't throw them under the bus just yet. People have overwhelming days and or off days. For the most part I love alta one. They have a lot of patience for all for us old people.

Went to Kernville Alta One to set up new account, appointment required, none available. Called Lake Isabella to set up appointment and even though I own my home here (not full time yet but will be soon) you are not allowed to have an account unless you are here full time. Make sense to you?

Their phone service is so bad that you can stay on hold for 2 hours and still never get to a person. They just keep pushing you back in line.
