We had the pleasure of dining at Splashes Restaurant, and our experience was made truly outstanding thanks to our server, Pablo. From the moment we were seated, Pablo went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful evening.

His attentiveness, professionalism, and warm demeanor made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering fantastic recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. His timing was impeccable—always there when we needed something but never intrusive.

Beyond his excellent service, Pablo’s genuine enthusiasm and friendly personality added a special touch to our night. It’s rare to find someone who takes such pride in their work and truly enhances the dining experience.

If you’re dining at Splashes, I highly recommend asking for Pablo. He’s an absolute gem, and we can’t wait to return!

This was a Top Five dinner experience from start to finish. Our waiter, Patrick, was an absolute delight! He was so knowledgeable and interesting that we wanted to invite him to sit with us during dinner! But, the entire wait staff and hostesses were friendly, attentive, and on-the-spot. The ambiance and service was equaled, if not surpassed, by the incredibly delicious, perfectly prepared, and luxuriously presented food. We had the sourdough bread, crisp spanish octopus, muscovy duck, and divers bristol scallops - each were undeniably not to be missed! Finally, the beautiful view of Laguna Beach and the waves crashing on shore in the fading evening light brought the entire night together into one unforgettable affair. Do not pass up the opportunity to enjoy this unique gem tucked away in a boutique hotel in the Riviera of the Pacific Coast.

S-P-E-C-T-A-C-U-L-A-R does not even come close to how wonderful this experience was for my group! From the moment we arrived, Sydney and Alyssa were incredibly personable, accommodating, friendly and made us feel welcome. Rigo and Jorge went well beyond the (already fantastic) level of service we have experienced previously at Splashes, making our visit so much more special- even inviting Chef Julian to our table and sharing an amazing top secret recipe! Every one of those crew members deserves our most sincere compliments (and a raise!) for how well they represented Splashes, how above and beyond their service and attention was for our group, and most of all how extremely appreciative we are for the genuine care they showed throughout our visit. Food, atmosphere, and service was excellent. We came on a gloomy February evening but the views were still enjoyable. Food was delicious, especially the lobster bisque, wagyu, and branzino. The espresso martini was a showstopper as well. Our waitress, Alex, was so incredible in regards to her service, recommendations, and personality. She definitely made our birthday dinner more enjoyable! Thanks to the staff and special thanks to Alex!

WOW, came to celebrate our anniversary and we will definitely be back! We were completely blown away with their service as soon as we sat down. Greeted us with Prosecco and continued to wow us throughout the service. It ended with complimentary dessert as well. The staff even wrote us a little card wishing us a happy anniversary with all of their signatures. Their attention to detail is unmatched. Thank you splashes! Carson was amazing, ask for him!

My family and I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Jhoana during our dinner at Splashes, and I cannot say enough good things about her! Jhoana immediately recognized us from previous visits, accommodated every request with ease, and explained each dish with great detail, adding even more to our enjoyment. She went above and beyond by treating us to champagne, bringing out two desserts when we couldn’t decide, and even surprised us with a small box of chocolates to take home. I have been coming to Splashes for over 20 years and the food is always exceptional. The remodel of the hotel is beautiful. Julian, the new General Manager for the restaurant made it a point to introduce himself. His industry experience will be great for this restaurant. Jhoana served us this evening. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. She’s very warm and passionate, a true asset to the team. I have always had good service at Splashes but Jhoana is my new go to girl when I return. Since we went Christmas evening, there was a price fixe menu, which is typical for any main holiday. I was going to have the scallops because they’re always so delicious but I really wanted to try the Wagyu New York and it was exceptional. The Hamachi appetizer was perfect. The desserts are a work of art. We usually get one of each and split both! We had a table outside overlooking the water and booked at 4:45 so we could watch the sunset. Don’t worry about it being chilly there’s always the space heaters that put off plenty of heat. Yes, it is pricey but I feel for special occasions it is definitely worth it.

Beautiful restaurant right on the water. Views are incredible and the splashing waves adds a lot to the experience. I took my family here and the food was beautiful and delicious. Cocktails are also great. We’ll come back next time we’re in Laguna Nigel!
