This is a standout coffee shop! The proprietor is truly passionate and knowledgeable. I didn’t know what to get so I asked for a recommendation. Based on my preferences the host made me the ‘smoking tiger’. I was blown away! It was one of the most unique espresso drinks I’ve ever tried.

My wife had the iced cappuccino which was also excellent. I highly recommend coming here to try something new or an old favorite - either way it will be handcrafted to your delight!

I visited this place in the morning time. Parking is available on the street in the alley next to the coffee shop. I tried a mocha and its taste was excellent. Not too sweet but its sweetness was just right. They don't seem to be making bread themselves, but the texture of the croissants was great. I highly recommend here!!

Great morning coffee in silver lake. Love the Cappuccino ☕ I ordered. Especially for the special cup cover design easy for drinking and prevent leakage! The store is nice decorated with the blackboard and the water bowl for dogs. May try croissant 🥐 next time.

The cafe looks cute. I was craving for sweets after brunch so I paid for a $6 chocolate croissant here but it tasted so mid. I seriously regretted it. If I am paying $6 for a croissant, I expect it to be crispy on the outside, buttery soft and airy on the inside. But no, the chocolate croissant I got here was cold, bread-y, and not crispy or buttery at all. I like the chocolate inside and that’s it. It looked good on the surface though. The cashier did not even offer to heat up the cold pastry for me (most cafes would), and dare to request 15-25% tips on the iPad for the most basic minimum service. Be for real for a second ok I am not returning to this cafe for sure.

Had a delicious chai latte and read outside under their patio umbrellas for nearly two hours on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Almost felt like I was in a European square, with distant church bells ringing on the hour.

Considering the name, I was afraid this was another instagrammable coffee shop, but happily discovered that the coffee, matcha, and maesil cha here are EXCELLENT. The shop clearly uses quality ingredients and is committed to their craft. My only complaint is much like the one echoed in some of the reviews below. Unfortunately, was not met with a warm welcome and when I asked a question, was met with a cold response.

We came here just fifteen minutes before it was closing. I understand the barista behind the counter was alone and maybe wanting to be done for the day. We placed our orders and he busied himself with prepping the coffees that he was placing on the counter with no names on them. By my mistake, I grabbed the coffee that wasn't and gave it to my friend, and when she realized the mistake, we apologized to the barista and to the girl waiting for the drink. The girl understood, but the barista put us a face, made us feel horrible, and spat that tea we grabbed needed to rest for ten minutes and that we basically have made the biggest mistake ever. We apologized but his attitude was really negative and dismissive. We left because of the bad energy he transmitted. I understand everybody is allowed to have bad days, and maybe yes, he wanted to get back home, but still, I don't think disrespect and creating those negative vibes are the solution. I hope he fixed his issues, because we let go, but we are not going there again.

Really great service! The employee working when I visited was so friendly and inviting. I ordered a latte and the mini chocolate croissant. Both were awesome. The latte was perfect and the temperature was nice and warm throughout. Really smooth espresso. I loved the croissant too. You could tell it was made with quality ingredients.
